This article presents data on the prevalence of primary immunodeficiency diseases (PID ) in R ussia, reflects the problems of the adult age patients with PID diagnosis. I t substantiates the necessity of inclusion of this disease into the list of orphan diseases, that entitles the patients to be provided with expensive treatment irrespective of the age and disability group. T he article shows clinical and laboratory criteria required for the general practice doctors to diagnose timely the PID .
