215ChemInform Abstract The carbolines (I) react with epichlorohydrin (II) to form the 2-glycidylcarbolines (III) which are treated with the primary amines (IV), producing the title compounds (V). The compounds (V) have weak psychotropic, α-and β-adrenolytic, and sympatholytic activity.

Die Alkylierung von Tryptamin (I) mit Epichlorhydrin (II) ergibt die Epoxyverbindung (III), die mit den primären Aminen (IV) zu den Aminoalkoholen (V) umgesetzt wird.
