Abstract-An extensive carbon-1 3 nuclear magnetic resonance study of selected model olefins dissolved in deuteriochloroform has been carried out under standardized conditions. Assignments of the chemical shifts have been made. The influence of the nature of the solvent and the effect of changing the concentration of the solute have been investigated. The results are intended to provide a practical aid for the analysis of olefinic materials.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
