The simulation of the phenomena of asphaltene particle coagulation and fragmentation in the bulk of petroleum and oil emulsion is considered. In particular, the collision rate was determined and the dis tribution function was constructed with the use of the Fokker-Planck equation. A model of the flow and fil tration of structured oil in a porous medium with high concentrations of asphaltenes, tars, and paraffins is proposed. Models for the adsorption of asphaltenes on the surface of water drops in the course of oil emulsion separation are given.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
