Whether C is convex or not, the greatest distance from aO to a point of Kr decreases monotonically as r decreases, and approaches 1/jaj as r approaches zero; the least distance from aO to a point of Kr increases monotonically as r decreases, provided aO is interior to Kr, and approaches 1/Ia! as r approaches zero.
