Digital technologies are increasingly used in all segments of agriculture. Improving the efficiency of agricultural enterprise management through digitalization technologies helps to maintain competitiveness in the market. To make the right management decisions, you need information, data that allows you to collect technologies such as satellite images, high-tech sensors, GPS systems, and more. The apogee of the digitalization process of the enterprise will be the transition to precision farming. The paper presents data analyzed by the Department of Science and Technology Policy and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation together with the Center for Forecasting and Monitoring of the Kuban State Agrarian University. The collection of statistical information is organized through the regional governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex on the use of elements of precision agriculture in 2019.The article explores the role of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex, notes the benefits from the use of digital technologies, characterizes pressing economic and economic issues and problems that hinder the development of the agro-industrial complex ( Agro-industrial complex). It also provides recommendations on how the use of digital technologies contributes to the increase and functioning of the efficiency of agri-food systems.
Digital technologies will continue to fill our world, creating new opportunities to change our lives. The world we live in is literally awash with digital technologies. They initiate and continue to initiate changes, running through all aspects of our lives, our environment, and the entire society of which we are a part. The use of digital technologies in this paper is considered as a key factor in the complete transformation of the functioning methods of the agro-industrial complex and agriculture. The article examines the role of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex, notes the benefits of using innovative digital technologies, and describes the factors that hinder the process of informatization of the agro-industrial complex (AIC). It also provides examples of how the use of digital technologies contributes to the improvement and functioning of agri-food systems efficiency.
Environmental degradation and depletion of natural resources make us think about how we can get electricity and heat from renewable sources. This article discusses the theoretical foundations and characteristics of RES, analyzes foreign experience and Russian achievements in the organization and development of RES. The analysis showed that on a global scale, the key to energy policy is the transition from environmentally friendly fuels to clean renewable energy sources. Renewable energy sources account for more than a quarter (26%) of global electricity production. Over the past 20 years, the world’s electricity production based on renewable energy has increased more than 10 times, solar and wind energy are developing. Thanks to comprehensive policy measures, investments in research and development in the field of alternative energy in Europe, the USA, etc., renewable energy technology has become widespread. Thanks to technological advances in this area, these countries are currently facing a reduction in the cost of electricity generated using renewable energy sources. Despite the world experience, the obvious advantages of renewable energy sources (inexhaustibility of energy resources, environmental friendliness, lack of a fuel component in the cost of energy produced) and their huge potential in Russia, the development of unconventional energy has not been adequately developed. The share of RES in electricity production in the country is 0.2%
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
