The study examines the most important aspects of the functioning of innovative economies, which are inherent in transaction costs. Over time, the structure of transaction costs has changed: in the information economy, a significant share is taken by the costs of information retrieval and measurement costs, in the knowledge economy, the costs of negotiating and Contracting are gradually gaining weight. It is important not only to provide a theoretical justification for the need to solve the problem of transaction costs, but also to offer practical ways to monitor the dynamics of such costs in order to reduce them.
