The general method of statistical diagnostics of irreversible avionics according to its actual condition, based on a martingale interpretation of the diagnostic process as a game with nature, is proposed. A general solution to the problem of determining the optimal moment of transition in statistical diagnostics is given. A design criterion since the switch to statistical diagnostics is made. The efficiency of the proposed methods for the timely detection of emerging and developing defects avionics according to the results of indirect measurements of controlled parameters is shown.
