The properties of polysulfone modified epoxy binders, which are intrinsic for their high deforma tion characteristics, are given. The experimental results of the impact strength, bend strength, and glass tran sition temperature are given. The procedure of the measurement of the temperature range, at which there is a glass transition, is given. It has been shown that the amount of the introduced polysulfone to the binder has a greater influence on the temperature range where the change of the glass transition temperature occurs rather than its mean value.
The results of an experimental and theoretical evaluation of the duration of impregnation process in the manufacture of multilayer glass fiber and unwoven material composites are presented. Two types of unwoven materials differing by degree of microstructure have been selected. It has been established that the duration of the impregnation process using the vacuum infusion technology differs by more than ten times for different unwoven materials when using the same binder.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
