In an earlier paper by Borcherds and Sheth expressions and an iterative method were given for determining the value of the parameters a and b for a straight line fit y = a + bx for data with errors in both coordinates. In this paper, we give expressions for determining the parameter variances. We also give the expressions for parameters in an analytic form for the case where errors are constant but different in x and y variables, respectively. Variances of the parameters for the different least squares models are calculated and compared for the data given in the earlier paper.
