A novel hybrid antenna structure that combines a rectangular dielectric resonator and a CPW-fed slot with tuning stub is proposed. The proposed antenna is designed to resonate at the lower (2.4 GHz) and upper (5.3 GHz) 802.11 WLAN frequency bands, respectively. Comparisons between the simulation and measurement results confirm the good properties exhibited by the proposed antenna.ABSTRACT: A miniaturized microstrip ring coupler with restricted minimum line width is proposed. The size-reduction limit for connecting open stubs on the inside of the ring is firstly derived and the miniaturized ring coupler based on the predicted minimum reduced size is designed and fabricated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
