The article aims to study the problem of the peculiarities of the communicative functions of interrogative sentences. The relevance of the problem is connected with the rich pragmatic fullness of these linguistic units. The issue of communicative functions of interrogative sentences was considered from the theory of speech acts, in which they are realized. Thus, examples of interrogatives were analyzed in representative, directive, commission, and expressive speech acts based on dialogues from the sitcom "Big Bang Theory". Determining the quantitative ratio of interrogatives in the composition of different types of speech acts and comparing these statistics with the results of another study allowed the authors to decide the most productive types. The prospect of further research is a more in-depth study of the pragmatics of interrogative sentences, as well as interdisciplinary research.
In recent years, there has been an increased interest of scientists and practicing teachers in the ideological origins of ethnic education. The purpose of the study is to create a theoretically grounded and experimentally tested pedagogical system of ethnocultural adaptation of students in the process of teaching the Kazakh language. A survey of different contingents of students studying in different cities was carried out. Subsequently, an experimental training of the pedagogical system of ethnocultural adaptation was carried out. The participants included 224 students. The collected data were analyzed using percentages and content analysis. The results of the study showed that the pedagogical system of ethnocultural adaptation is based on the principles of cultural conformity, anthropocentrism, integration, and differentiation. Also, at the ascertaining stage of the experiment, there is no statistically significant difference between the students from the CG and the EG. The study’s goal is to use technology to improve language communication among primary school students through creative thinking. The research was applied in the spring term of 2021–2022. The study, which was carried out with the participation of 162 primary school students, was carried out using the quantitative research model. In the study, primary school students received 3 weeks of distance education and technology applications to improve language communication. In order to collect data for the study, a data collection tool developed by the people who created the problem was used. The findings collected from the data collection tool used in the research were added to the research in the form of tables and comments. When the results obtained are taken into consideration, it is seen that the language communication of the primary school students is improved with the use of technology and that they will use this field in their education. The article is devoted to the study of the problem of multicultural education, where not all aspects have received the necessary degree of scientific substantiation, which is reflected in the terminological and conceptual apparatus. Studying the history of the issue allows us to speak about the relevance and complexity of the stated problem. The authors of the article cited six main positions that reveal the complexity of the question posed by scientists from different countries. The results of the study and the questioning of respondents demonstrated the relevance of the formation of special knowledge in the framework of multicultural education, which is necessary for conducting professional activities, taking into account the peculiarities of the socio-cultural situation. Students are required to know the modern problems of multicultural education, the history of the emergence and formation of the ideas of multicultural education. Comparison and generalization methods allowed the authors of this article to determine the range of problems of modern multicultural education as a means of developing ethnocultural and professional competence. The results of the survey of respondents on the definition of tasks and the content of multicultural education are given. On the basis of these results, formed through sociological surveys, directions and conceptual provisions of the ideas of multicultural education are proposed. The practical significance of the study is aimed at the formation of the sum of competencies for the implementation of professional activities in a multicultural environment.
