<h1>In general, household waste water pipelines use plastic pipes of PVC type that are not environmentally friendly and are relatively expensive. Therefore, this research will design molds and manufacture of composite pipes using raw materials of clampshell powder. The raw material used is clampshell powder with the composition of MgO and CaO compounds which is about 22.28% and 66.70%. The mixture of materials used consisted of clampshell powder with a size of 40 mesh, catalyst, and unsaturated polyester resin as a matrix. The objective of this study is manufacture of water pipes made from polymer composites reinforced by clampshell powder. Composite pipe manufacturing is carried out using the casting method. Pipe molds are made of stainless steel with a diameter of 40.46 mm (1.6 in) and an outer diameter of 50.8 mm (2 in). This mold size follows SNI 06-0084-2002 standards. The results of the study, water pipes from polymer composite material reinforced by clampshell powder with an inner diameter size of 40.64 mm and varying outside diameter. This variation depends on the composition of the clampshell powder in composite materials. The greater the clampshell powder composition, the more easily the maximum pipe wall thickness can be obtained. The average wall thickness variation is 3.35 mm. This variation is still included in the polymer water pipe requirements, which is a minimum of 2 mm.</h1>

AbstrakSistem monitoring dan kontrol level air merupakan salah satu contoh otomasi industri sederhana. Monitoring dan pengontrolan level air berbasis SCADA dapat memudahkan untuk melakukan proses pengamatan dan pengontrolan secara real time. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain suatu sistem pengontrolan level air dengan menggunakan sensor ultrasonik dan dilengkapi dengan tampilan interface pada laptop. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D yang dimulai dari tahapan identifikasi masalah, perancangan dan pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan performa yang baik sesuai dengan yang diinginkan, Di mana pompa air dapat dinyalakan apabila ketinggian air pada tandon mencapai 10 cm dan akan dihentikan secara otomatis apabila ketinggian level air dalam tandon mencapai 70 cm. Monitoring dan pengontrolan level air dapat dilakukan secara real time pada interface laptop. sehingga sistem ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran SCADA.

COVID-19 virus have affected educational activities to be carried out through e-learning. Discord and Google Jamboard offer advantages in delivering synchronous e-learning. The purpose of this research is to implement e-learning of Physics 1 course using Discord integrated with Google Jamboard and Powerpoint. In this research, we used qualitative-descriptive method which conducted in several steps, i.e: (1) Discord installation and Physics 1 Class preparation; (2) Virtual Tablet Server installation and its testing for mobile phone; (3) Learning materials preparation in Powerpoint; (4) Implementation of Physics 1 Class using Discord integrated with Google Jamboard and Powerpoint; (5) Evaluation of the results and (6) Surveying of student’s opinion about e-learning using using Discord integrated with Google Jamboard and Powerpoint. Discord can be used as an alternative e-learning tool because of its practical use as well as more powerful when integrated with Google Jamboard and Powerpoint, especially for mathematical-analytics subject such as Physics. This is supported by the results of a survey in which 34 out of 39 students said they wanted to use Discord and Google Jamboard for other mathematical-analytics subjects.

The Covid-19 pandemic is a disaster for all of us, Vocational Education is also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic which forces online lectures, one of which is at the Industrial Chemical Technology Polytechnic (PTKI), in the implementation of the exam at PTKI Medan carried out collectively with questions exam in the form of an essay. There have been many studies on online essay exams but the scope of the discussion is for automatic correction or similarity based on text input. In vocational education, especially PTKI Medan, which has a test that is not limited to text input but there are calculations. Another weakness of text input is that the answers can be more easily copied and pasted by students. This research was carried out for 1 year starting from Odd semester 2020 to Even 2020. The method in developing information systems uses the waterfall model with the stages of needs analysis, system design, coding, implementation and the last stage of system maintenance. From the results of the research in the odd semester of 2020, the researchers used a text-based online essay exam model, but many weaknesses were found, one of which was the ease of students in using answers from the internet which were directly entered into the answer column. At the maintenance stage, the researcher updates the system by changing the image-based exam model, so students must write their answers on paper and then upload the answers to the website. The file upload system can overload the server if it is not controlled, one of the techniques used is to compress image files uploaded by students to the system and the maximum size can be compressed up to 78.48% from 1329 Kb to 286 Kb for this type. png data.
