Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi belajar siswa dan manakah yang lebih efektif diantara keduanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Margasari Kabupaten Tegal. Sampel penelitian kelas VIII-A dan VIII-H. Untuk menguji keefektifan pendekatan pembelajaran data dianalisis dengan uji one sample t- test pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran data diukur dengan uji Hotelling’s Trace pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan selanjutnya digunakan uji independent sample t-testuntuk mengetahui pembelajaran mana yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pendekatan PBL dan CTL efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi belajar siswa dan pendekatan PBL lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pendekatan CTL ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa, namun tidak lebih efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis.Kata Kunci: pendekatan Problem-Based Learning, pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning, kemampuan komunikasi matematis, dan motivasi belajar siswa. The Effectiveness of PBL Approach and CTL Viewed from Mathematical Communication and Learning Motivation of Students Junior High School AbstractThis study aims to examine the effectiveness of Problem Based-Learning (PBL) and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) viewed from students’ mathematical communication ability and learning motivation and which more effective instruction between PBL approach and CTL approach. This study was quasi experiment research. The population covered all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Margasari in Tegal Regency. The sample of class VIII-A and VIII-H. To test the effectiveness of the PBL and CTL approaches, the data were analyzed using the one-sample t-test at the significance level of 5%. To determine differences in the effectiveness of mathematics teaching data were analyzed using Hotteling Trace at the significance level of 5% and followed by independent sample t- test to determine which approach was more effective. The results of this study show that: the PBL approach and CTL is effective to increase students’ communication ability and learning motivation and the PB L approach is more effective than the CTL approach viewed from students’ learning motivation but not more effective viewed from mathematical communication ability .Keywords: Problem-Based Learning approach, Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, mathematical communication ability, student’s learning motivation.
This research is an attempt to implement recitation and reading skills of the Qur'an in the material of the Qur'an in class VII students at Al Manar Bener Tengaran MTs. In a teaching and learning activities it is not enough just to transfer knowledge and lecture only. As a teacher must have the skills and methods of learning that are fun so that learning can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The main questions to be answered through this research are (1) How is the implementation of recitation and reading skills of the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an ' an Hadith of grade VII students at MTs Al Manar Bener Tengaran ?, and (2) What are the Obstacles and Solutions in the implementation of recitation and reading skills in the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an Hadith of grade VII students at MTs Al Manar Bener Tengaran ?. To answer these questions, this research uses a qualitative approach by sharing the stages in its research. Based on literature review and research results in the field, the research can conclude that the results of research on the implementation of recitation and reading skills of the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an Hadith VII grade students at MTs Al Manar Bener Tengaran in planning, implementing, evaluating as well as obstacles and solutions in the learning process in accordance with the material taught namely recitation and the skills in reading the Qur'an. As we know that Imam Nawawi is a scholars of salaf thinkers who produce famous great works, he feels that it is very important that a person who has strong faith, perfection of aqidah and akhlak also quality and adequate of education must be possessed by everyone in their life. So the aims of this study is to find out and examine what education in the Nashaih al-'Ibad, the questions that will be answered through this research are: (1) how is the description of Imam Nawawi's thoughts about the values of moral education; (2) how is the relevance of the value of moral education by Imam Nawawi's thinking towards students today. To answer this question, this research using a library approach. The research method used is the type of literature, while the primary data source from the Nashaih al-‘Ibad book, and the source of the secondary from other books related to this research. The technical data analysis using inductive method and deductive method. The findings of this research indicate that the value of moral education in the Nashaih al-‘Ibad by Imam Nawawi al-Bantani is very much needed for the world of education today. From this it is hoped that a person who has good character and strong friendship will be realized.
This article aims to present the results of a qualitative research that explores the impact of muraja'ah method in memorizing the Qur'an and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors during its application in one of the Islamic boarding schools in East Java. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of data analysis showed that the implementation of memorizing the Qur'an with the Muraja'ah method in this study was using the One Day One Page system with memorizing new muraja'ah to the ustadzah, muraja'ah the previous memorization with pairs, muraja'ah the previous memorization to the teacher, and the memorization test. In this study, the muraja'ah method was considered effective. The supporting factors in this research are discipline, memorization targets, motivation from parents and teachers, achievement logs, prayers for success in memorizing the Qur'an. The inhibiting factors for the application of the muraja'ah method in this study were the forgotten verses, feeling lazy, or tired. The solution to overcome these obstacles is rote repetition, selfmotivation, and time management.
Kapal merupakan moda transpotasi untuk memindahkan penumpang atau barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lain melalui laut. Kapal dengan umur lebih dari 25 tahun secara umum tidak dapat dioperasikan lagi karena adanya Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan pada tahun 2005. Ketika umur kapal bertambah, maka kapal tersebut menjadi tidak efisien untuk dioperasikan. Scrapping kapal pada saat ini dianggap sebagai solusi terbaik kapal yang tidak beroperasi. Kegiatan Scrapping kapal meliputi persiapan peralatan dan pekerja, bersandarnya kapal, pemotongan dan pengiriman material hasil scrapping. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah menyusun skenario risiko dan menilai risiko yang ada pada industri scrapping kapal di Bangkalan Madura dengan metode Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP). Metode HAZOP merupakan suatu cara identifikasi suatu risiko yang terjadi pada setiap pekerjaan dengan menggabungkan 2 kata penting yaitu parameter dan guideword menghasilkan penyimpangan (deviasi) hingga memberikan usulan tindakan pencegahan pada risiko kecelakaan. Analisis data dilakukan mulai mempersiapkan perlengkapan dan kondisi pekerja hingga pengiriman hasil scrapping. Metode berfungsi untuk mengetahui tingkat/level kecelakan pekerja dan dampak terhadap lingkungan di usaha scrapping kapal. Risiko terekstrim diperoleh oleh pembersihan sisa bahan bakar/oli dengan menggunakan sabun dengan nilai 19,32. Tindakan pencegahan meliputi Memperhatikan faktor-faktor keselamatan pada waktu perencanaan, pembangunan sistem keamanan, sistem keselamatan bagi pekerja ataupun lingkungan, hingga pengawasan atau pengecekan setiap pekerjaan, menyelidiki kerusakan yang terjadi pada kecelakaan dan memelihara kalender kejadian.
