Abstract: This research examined the effect of psychological capital and the totality of work on the subjective well-being of employees. This study involved 169 employees of PT X, a state-owned mining company in Jakarta. Sampling conducted using non-probability sampling with accidental sampling technique. The instruments used consisted Flourishing Scale and Scale for Positive and Negative Scales (SPANE) modified by Diener et al. (2009), Psychological Capital Questionnaire 12 (PCQ-12) from Luthans et al. (2007), Utrecht work engagement Scale (UWES-9) from Balducci, Fraccaroli, and Schaufeli (2010). Data analysis technique was multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of major hypothesis testing, the first conclusion obtained from this study is that there is a significant influence of psychological capital and work engagement on the subjective well-being of employees of PT X. Then, the results showed that four variables regression coefficient value was significant, that is; (1) self-efficacy; (2) spirit; (3) dedication; and (4) absorption while three other variables are not significant. All of these variables have a positive effect on employee’s subjective well-being.

This research aims to measure the construct validity of the parent-child relationship scale developed by theory Miller, Benson and Galbraith (2001). The scale made by researcher consists of 24 items with three dimensions of parent-child relationship, that is support, open communication, and control of the parents will affect the child in conducting sexual behavior. This research just see the parentchild relationship from the side of the child (college student) so the researcher adds perception theory to clarify the purpose of the research, that is to see the college student perception about the relationship with the parents and the effect on sexual behavior. The sample this research is 200 respondents of male and female college student. The research data is analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) technique with lisrel 16.0 program.
Everybody aspires and deserves some personal well-being. This kind of well-being is subjective, and it is shaped by the way individuals perceive and feel the situations surrounding their lives. This study aimed to investigate the effect of gratitude and social support on fishermen's subjective well-being. This study's subjects were 299 fishermen living in the coastal area of Pelabuhan Ratu, who were chosen through an accidental sampling technique. In collecting data, subjective well-being was measured using Flourishing Scale (Diener et al., 2009) and Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (Diener & Biswas-Diener, 2008), Gratitude Scale, which was based on Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test (Watkins, Woodward, Stone, & Kolts, 2003), and Social Support Scale that was based on Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Dahlem, et al., 1991). Multiple regression analysis showed that the entire independent variables significantly influenced subjective well-being. Meanwhile, each dimension's regressive coefficient on the independent variables showed four sub-variables that significantly influenced the dependent variables: sense of abundance, simple appreciation, appreciation to others, and family support.
This analysis is meant to look at the impact of gratitude and hope on subjective well-being of fishermen. This study concerned 240 fishermen in Pelabuhan Ratu. Sampling is finished mistreatment non probability sampling with accidental sampling technique. The instruments used consisted of Flourishing Scale and Positive and Negative Scales (SPANE) Scale from Diener, Wirtz, Biswas-Diener, Tov, Kim-prieto, Choi, and Oishi (2009), State Hope Scale (SHS) developed by Snyder (2001), whereas the the gratitude was measured by GRAT from Watkins, Woodward, Stone & Kolts (2003). The results show that there's a major impact of gratitude and hope towards subjective well-being of fishermen. Then, the every one dimensions have a major parametric statistic on subjective wel-being.
The purpose of this study was to prove the influence of psychological capital and gratitude to subjective well being on young mother of Jabodetabek Hijrah Community. This study involved 186 young mothers who had daughters or sons. The sampling was done using nonprobability sampling, specifically accidental sampling. The instruments used consisted of a Flourishing Scale (FS) and Scale for Positive and Negative Scales (SPANS), modified from Diener, Wirtz, Biswas-Diener, Tov, Kim-prieto, Choi, and Oishi [7], the Psychological Capital Questionnaire, 12 (PCQ-12) from Luthan, Youssef, and Avolio [4]. Testing the validity of the instrument, we used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and testing the hypothesis used multiple regression analyses. The results of the study prove that there was the influence of from psychological capital (self-efficacy, optimism, hope and resiliency) and gratitude towards subjective well being of the young mother of the Jabodetabek Hijrah Community. Based on coefficient regression testing indicated that 3 variables influenced subjective well being, i.e. optimism, hope, and a self of abundance. In this study, the proportion of variance of subjective well being explained by all independent variables was 22.3%, while the remaining 77.7% was influenced by other variables outside of this study.
