HighlightsOsteochondroma is a benign cartilaginous tumour that rarely affects the scapula.We present a rare case of osteochondroma with winging of scapula, present in his fourth decade of life.This symptomatic scapular osteochondroma exhibited positive radiological findings.The patient was treated surgically and recovered fully, with no recurrence.This report increases awareness of unusual osteochondroma sites and features.

Early recognition and accurate diagnosis might help avoiding management delay and late intervention. As surgical management is considered to be the definitive management, multidisciplinary management involving a team of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery skull base surgeons is essential to achieve optimal outcomes.

Highlights Pericecal hernia is a rare form of internal hernia that presents with signs and symptoms of small bowel obstruction. Imaging will show dilated loops of the small bowel with a transitional zone near the cecum. Small bowel obstruction caused by pericecal hernia can be safely and successfully managed laparoscopically.
