This paper highlights the importance of energy in the determination of growth for economy of Pakistan. This study has been taken for the period of 1972-2015. Along with energy consumption some other important variables are also put into investigation. The Johansson co-integration estimation technique has been used to estimate the required impact. The results show that energy consumption contributed positively and significantly to long run economic growth. While the said impact is statistically insignificant in the short run, the study suggested on the basis of results that energy sources should be explored to boost which may possible to satisfy the energy need of the country and to get guaranteed economic growth in the long run. Therefore, Government should pay special attention toward the country’s energy sector to stabilize the economy which assures prosperity in the country.
Metric dimension is the extraction of the affine dimension (obtained from Euclidean space E d ) to the arbitrary metric space. A family ℱ = G n of connected graphs with n ≥ 3 is a family of constant metric dimension if dim G = k (some constant) for all graphs in the family. Family ℱ has bounded metric dimension if dim G n ≤ M , for all graphs in ℱ . Metric dimension is used to locate the position in the Global Positioning System (GPS), optimization, network theory, and image processing. It is also used for the location of hospitals and other places in big cities to trace these places. In this paper, we analyzed the features and metric dimension of generalized convex polytopes and showed that this family belongs to the family of bounded metric dimension.
In this paper we solve some fifth and sixth order boundary value problems (BVPs) by the improved residual power series method (IRPSM). IRPSM is a method that extends the residual power series method (RPSM) to (BVPs) without requiring exact solution. The presented method is capable to handle both linear and nonlinear boundary value problems (BVPs) effectively. The solutions provided by IRPSM are compared with the actual solution and with the existing solutions. The results demonstrate that the approach is extremely accurate and dependable.
Globalization has resulted in a significant increase in the FDI inflows. The impact of corruption on FDI inflow has been extensively studied in previous research. However, this topic has received scarce attention in Asians economies countries. Asian Economies is different from other Europe, Africa, North America and South America as rapid growth have seen in recent years. To fill the research gap, we collected data for seven South Asians countries. Based on the collected data, we first find out the effect of corruption on FDI. The results showed a positive and significant effect of corruption on FDI and supporting the helping hand theories of corruption which suggesting that South Asian countries should bring political stability and good governance, peace to attract more MNC, make strong law and its implementation to make corruption lessen.
Technical education plays vital role in economic development of world. States consider youth as assets for nation. Therefore developed countries give more emphasis to youth’s education and training to prepare them to world of work. Technical education and vocation training starts from secondary level in developed counties. Now developing counties making remarkable progress in technical education to able their youth to contribute in national socio-economic development. There is a need to give more importance and emphasis to technical education and vocational training to prepare youth to world of work. This paper highlighted the importance of vocational and technical education. Technical educational development report of South Asian counties is discussed as well impact of globalization on technical education elaborated. The issues and flaws in technical education of Pakistan are highlighted. Finally recommendations are presented to develop globally accepted technical education system
