Vocational High School is an institution that produces labor. However, the problem is that it is actually the highest contributor to unemployment in working-age population value. One of the breakthroughs to anticipate this is by implementing innovative learning. Work Based Learning is a job-oriented learning in industry. This research used qualitative research. The focus of this research is the implementation of Work Based Learning based on the alignment of existing learning in schools with industry, which is arranged in an industrial class implemented curriculum. From the results of the research, there are 3 implementations of Work Based Learning which are integrated with each other including learning in the school environment, in the society, and in the industrial environment. The evaluation of Work Based Learning was carried out by means of daily test assessment, mid-test assessment, final test assessment, skill competency test and open examination of industrial work practice report
Graduating of Vocational High School in the manufacturing industry occupies job of production position. The demands of industrial needs are in the manufacturing sector. They want employees or labor that have told and professional competencies. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and identify career in operator position. This study uses qualitative research. This research focuses on analysis of operator's position needs in the industry. Based on the results of the research, the work of production operators includes briefing, setting, operating, quality procedures, and engine maintenance. There are several competencies regarding the position of production operators, namely occupational health and safety, quality assurance, measuring instruments, hand tools, technical drawings, general machining, and special conditions. Production operators get salaries, which include grade-based salaries, and salary holidays. Susceptible salary obtained by production operator position gets a vulnerable salary based on the industrial area district minimum wage where he works.
The Community Work Training Center has a mission to produce unskilled Human Resources to become skilled in several areas of expertise and have entrepreneurial skills. The aim of this research is to evaluate the role of Community Work Training Center of Syech Tambuh Foundation in improving the quality of Human Resources in in Islamic boarding schools and the surrounding environment. This research approach was descriptive qualitative. The source of data was obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings showed that the role of the Syech Tambuh Foundation Community Work Training Center is quite good. This foundation has used the curriculum standardized by the Ministry of Manpower. Syech Tambuh Foundation Community Work Training Center has collaborated with BRI, Bank Mandiri, Sampoerna Foundation and ITS. Generally, its graduates have become entrepreneurs and worked in several local and national industries. The conclusion of this research is that the role of Syech Foundation Community Work Training Center has grown quite well in providing training. Optimization of cooperation programs needs to be carried out to support the improvement of the quality of training in providing experience for the training participants
<p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> VHS Graduated in the manufacturing industry occupies the job of CNC Operator position. The demands needs are in the manufacturing sector, labour has to professional competence. This study aims to identify and describe careers in the VHS Graduated Mechanical Engineering Program of CNC Operator Position. This study uses qualitative research, a multicast study type of research. The results of the research, include: (1) the work and competence of CNC Operator position, sets the machine, make programs, operates the machine; (2) incentives of CNC Operator position, obtained based on <em>grade</em> and holiday incentives; (3) salary of CNC Operator position, range earned by a technician is above the UMK in which area the industry is located.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Lulusan SMK pada industri manufaktur menempati pekerjaan pada jabatan Operator CNC. Tuntutan dalam kebutuhan industri pada bidang manufaktur fabrikasi menghendaki seluruh karyawan mempunyai kompetensi yang profesional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan karier jabatan Operator CNC pada lulusan SMK Teknik Pemesinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian multikasus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan (1) pekerjaan dan kompetensi Operator CNC, yang meliputi pekerjaan: mengeset mesin CNC, pembuatan program, dan mengoperasikan mesin CNC; (2) Insentif yang didapatkan pada jabatan Operator CNC, meliputi insentif berdasarkan <em>grade</em> dan insentif hari raya; (3) rentang gaji yang didapatkan oleh jabatan Operator CNC menyesuaikan UMK daerah industri berada.
Interdisipliner merupakan suatu pendekatan yang menggabungkan dari satu disiplin ilmu maupun lebih. Penerapan mata pelajaran Produk Kreatif dan Kewirausahaan (PKK) tentunya tidak hanya satu pendekatan disiplin ilmu, melainkan harus beberapa pendekatan ilmu. Salah satunya adalah pendekatan interdisipliner. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode pengambilan data wawancara secara langsung, dokumen pendukung, serta observasi secara langsung. Hasil penelitian akan dibahas lebih lanjut dengan literatur yang relevan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan strategi pendekatan satu disiplin ilmu dapat diterapkan di SMK pada mata pelajaran Produk Kreatif dan Kewirausahaan dengan pembuatan jobsheet handle door dan potato spirals, sedangkan strategi pendekatan Interdisipliner dapat diterapkan pada jobsheet alat pengupas kulit telur puyuh otomatis. Pendekatan Interdisipliner pada SMK Teknik Pemesinan dapat diterapkan dengan cara mengkombinasikan disiplin ilmu (ilmu pada bidang teknik pemesinan, teknik pengelasan, teknik elektronika, dan kewirausahaan) untuk pembuataan jobsheet/produk.
