This study aims to develop an Android-based math exercises application for the visually impaired. This research is development research carried out with research steps, namely: (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping stage, and (3) assessment phase. The research was conducted between April 2020 and December 2020. The material chosen in the application developed was a plan taught in 8 grade. The research process involved six experts in assessing the product, namely three mathematics education experts to assess the validity of the aspects of mathematical content, two blind education experts to assess visually impaired content suitability and accessibility, and 1 IT expert to assess product performance. The product was tested on nine visually impaired. The quality of teaching materials is based on three basic aspects: feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. The conclusions of this study are: (1) the product has good quality because it has been declared feasible by experts, practical, which can be seen from the enthusiastic response and student testimonials, and is effective because it can be used to learn and measure abilities, (2) the application is divided into three sections, preamble (contains the opening tune and instructions for use), practice questions, and results. Application development is based on two elements, namely accessibility and compatibility of the content with the cognition of the visually impaired, (3) the question page consists of questions (will be read when entering the page and can be repeated when the user taps the question section), under the question, there is a question number. There is a question; answer choices are arranged twice in two (the answer choices will be read out when pressed by the user). There is an answer lock button at the very bottom, and (4) the visually impaired want an application that has a simple operating system, provides challenges to the user and has two functions, namely measuring their abilities and facilitating their learning.
Tuberculosis is the disease with the second highest mortality rate in the world and is ranked first in the most deadly infectious disease. In Indonesia, tuberculosis occurred around 969,000 cases that were found, which is up about 17% from the previous year, which means that there are 354 people out of 100,000 people who have tuberculosis. This study aims to determine the risk factors that can influence the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and find out the risk factors that have a relationship with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Data analysis in this study was carried out by the binary logistic regression method. The results of the study stated that factors of nutritional status and family history status suffering from tuberculosis had an influence on the incidence of tuberculosis. In addition, risk factors that are related to the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis are nutritional status, family history status of tuberculosis, and smoking habits, while economic status or income has no influence or association with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis.
<p class="JRPMAbstractBody">Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembahasan mengenai perhitungan premi asuransi jiwa gabungan dwiguna. Asuransi jiwa gabungan dwiguna memberikan dua manfaat sekaligus yaitu manfaat diberikan jika salah satu tertanggung meninggal dunia atau memberikan manfaat jika kedua tertanggung masih hidup hingga akhir masa kontrak asuransi.
The set with assosiative binary operations is semigroup. Of all set partial linear transformations with a composition function is semigroup which is called a partial linear transformation semigroup that is denoted by (PT (X), o). If Y is a subspace of X, with all images of PT (X) a subset of Y, so the semigroup which is formed is a semigroup of partial linear transformation with restricted range that is denoted by (PT(X,Y),o). A natural partial order is a relation which defined by a ≤ b if only if a = xb = by, xa = a for some x,y ∈PT(X,Y) in a semigroup partial linear transformation with restricted range. In this article using the literature study method, it discusses the characterization of natural partial order on partial linear transformations semigroups with restricted range resulting neccesary and sufficient condition for a natural partial order in semigroup partial linear transformation with restricted range.
Background:In order to understand tuberculosis (TB) trends, the epidemiologist need to focus on the long-term consequences of tuberculosis epidemics, which can be observed with the analysis of epidemiological models. Susceptible, infectious, recovered (SIR) model is an epidemiological models consist of compartments which represent sets of individuals grouped by TB status. This study aimed to examined SIR model on the spread of TB disease. Subjects and Method: This was a cross sectional study. The study population was tuberculosis patients in Central Java, Indonesia, from 2018 to 2019. The study involved three sub-populations, included (1) suspected (high risk infected to TB), ( 2) infected (TB patients), ( 3) cured (TB survivors). TB cases were obtained from medical record. The data were analyzed by susceptible, infectious, recovered (SIR) model. Results:The epidemic model found that an infected TB patient may disseminate TB cases to 2 suspected persons. SIR model can be used to calculate reproduction number of TB. Conclusion: SIR model can be used to calculate reproduction number of TB.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
