Assessment Test is one of the routine agenda that is carried out every semester change. This test is conducted to see the development of students in learning activities. Currently SMK 5 Kota Tangerang already uses a mobile application using the PENTAS application in answering the exam questions. But this application needs to be done to understand applications that can be used properly, or vice versa. This study uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to measure the use of this application for use. This SUS method has 10 questions that will be answered by respondents who are directly involved in using the PENTAS application. The average score obtained by the System Use Scale method is 46.00. These results fall into the Unacceptable category, so this PENTAS application is not good for use.
This study aims to determine (1) differences in students' analytical skills in learning physics with the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model and direct instruction learning, (2) improve students' analytical skills by learning physics POE learning models. This study uses a quasi-experimental method and control-group pre-test post-test design. The research subjects were Grade VIII students of a junior high school in a District of Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. The data instruments is test. Data analysis techniques using different test and gain test. The results showed: (1) there were differences in analysis skills between students who used the POE learning model and did not use the POE model seen from the results of the t-test with dk 47 and 5% significance level where tcount> ttable was 5.49> 2.012, (2) improvement of students' analytical skills using the POE model is greater than the students who do not use the POE model with a gain test of 0.60 (medium criteria)> 0.32 (medium criteria).
Admission of new students is a routine activity at the beginning of each new meeting year in all formal educational institutions. At the moment the acceptance of new students uses the zoning system and has been regulated by Permendikbud No. 20 in 2019. This zoning system will accept students where their residence enters through the user area with the school environment. With this Permendikbud the government hopes that there will be an evenness in the quality of education in all schools, so that schools will no longer get the title of superior and non-superior schools. But in a system, the zoning improves anxieties in the school environment. This research supports to help the participating school students will be accepted in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Culture. In overcoming problems that arise in the school environment there needs to be a system that can overcome that problem. In this study using the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method. Where the K-NN method will do the classification of new learners' residence with the school. In determining the classification using the K-NN method used for zoning and non-zoning areas, it is seen based on the closest K value. In finding the optimal value in this study using the Rapidminer application. The optimal high-level test results at K 5 where the value of this K is 83.36%
Physics learning requires good media in order to convey the relation of physics with everyday life. Lesson material delivered in the form of multimedia is accepted by students better than material in the conventional form. Smartphone-based media is one of the breakthroughs that can be implemented into physics learning. The purpose of this study is to produce an Android-based physics mobile learning media product that are valid and feasible for use in learning. This research is a Research & Development study with procedures adapted from the 4-D model. Based on the results of the development, obtained an Android-based physics mobile learning media product on the Optical Instruments material. The product was developed using the Android Studio 3.2 IDE at the minimum level of API 14 Ice Cream Sandwich. Media products are declared valid and can be used in physics learning with expert assessment results on the Very Good criteria.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
