Penyelenggaraan pemerintahan yang baik harus didukung dengan data yang baik agar dalam mengelola desa dapat dengan optimal. salah satu data yang penting adalah peta batas wilayah desa. Pembuatan peta batas desa merupakan amanat yang tertuang dalam Undang-undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah tersedianya peta desa dalam bentuk fisik untuk mendukung pemerintah desa dalam menjalankan fungsi pemerintahannya. Kegiatan pembuatan peta desa melibatkan pihak desa dan masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan pemetaan desa ini dapat diselesaikan dengan baik dan berjalan lancar sesuai dengan rencana yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dan pernyaatan pihak desa peta yang dihasilkan juga representatif untuk kebutuhan administrasi desa. Pemerintah desa juga menganggap bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat, dan berharap kedepannya ada kegiatan yang sejenis, dengan target keluaran sampai ke peta batas dusun, RT dan RW.
<p>In the era of intensive oil palm and rubber plantations in Kalimantan, some local communities of Dayak's tribe in West Kalimantan preserved the traditional agroforestry system "Tembawang". In the last two decades, rubber has been planted traditionally by local communities since the expansion of rubber industries. This study aimed to compare tree above ground biomass (AGB) distribution and carbon storage in different DBH (diameter at breast height) classes between Tembawang and conventional rubber plantation in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Vegetation transect analysis was carried out on two types of traditional agroforestry namely Tembawang and conventional rubber. AGB estimation was based on the existing allometric, carbon storage was estimated from the percentage of biomass. Total AGB of Tembawang was higher than conventional rubber plantation and significantly different (<em>p</em> < 0.01). The highest AGB accumulation both Tembawang and conventional rubber was found at above 50 cm diameter class. The aboveground carbon storage from Tembawang and conventional rubber plantation were 90.26 and 42.01 Mg C ha<sup>-1</sup>, respectively. The highest contribution to carbon storage was found at above 50 cm diameter class, estimated 62.58 % from Tembawang and 49.24 % from conventional rubber. AGB and carbon storage at traditional agroforestry in West Kalimantan were greater than varied different agroforestry system, also the estimated value was closed to tropical secondary forests. Tembawang agroforestry has good potential contribution to carbon storage and conservation of native fruit trees of Kalimantan.</p>
Mangrove forest in Sambas Regency is experiencing several pressures, both naturally and due to land use conversion into settlements, ponds and others. This study aims to analyze the structure of the mangrove community and the existing condition of mangrove forest in Malek Village, Sambas Regency. The research was conducted through vegetation analysis and a remote sensing approach. Estimation of carbon stock was done by using available allometric equations. Remote sensing data used in this study was from Sentinel-2 MSI image. The data was used to obtain information of the area and distribution of mangrove species. Results showed that there were two dominant true mangrove species at the site, namely Avicennia marina (IVI = 212.80) and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza (IVI = 187.20). Based on the results of the analysis, the area of mangrove in the location is 368.41 ha, with a dense category of 63.25%, medium 27.55%, and sparse 9.19%. The estimated value of above ground carbon stock of mangrove vegetation ranges from 23.09 ± 2.30 to 49.23 ± 2.59 Mg C ha-1. The mangrove forest area in Malek Village has good potential, it can be assessed from the density of mangroves, area, the thickness of mangroves, minimum damage, and potential carbon stocks stored.Indonesian title: Struktur komunitas dan potensi cadangan karbon di kawasan hutan mangrove Desa Malek, Kecamatan Paloh, Kabupaten Sambas, Indonesia
