The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the use of quantitative methods in research on the evaluation of the adoption of electronic systems in public administration. To help researchers make better-informed methodological choices when it comes to employing quantitative methods. This is a bibliographic study that, through a systematic literature review of 672 articles, resulted in a sample of 27 studies. The parts identified in the individual studies were associated, developing new arrangements and facilitating the development of new knowledge. The most used statistical techniques were: descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling and confirmatory factor analysis. The choices with the highest occurrences were: use of a questionnaire, 7-point Likert scale, reliability tested by Cronbach's Alpha, and use of SPSS software. Investigation of the most appropriate techniques for evaluating the adoption of electronic systems, synthesizing the information and supporting future research. The application of adequate statistical technique allows the correct measurement and evaluation of electronic systems adopted by the public administration, ensuring efficiency in management and supporting decision-making processes in pursuit of the supremacy of the public interest.
