The synthesis of polyhydroquinoline derivatives via a four-component unsymmetric Hantzsch reaction induced by solar thermal energy is reported. The process proved to be simple, environmentally friendly, economic and high yielding.
Simple, Three-Component, Highly Efficient Green Synthesis of Thiazolo[3,2-a]pyridine Derivatives under Neat Conditions. -Changing the molar ratios, compounds (IV) or (V) become the main product. The reaction is very fast and neither prolonged conventional heating nor microwave irradiation are necessary. However, the presence of a basic catalyst is essential according to the proposed reaction mechanism. -(MEKHEIMER, R. A.; HILMY, N. M.; ABDEL HAMEED, A.; DACRORY, S.; SADEK*, K. U.; Synth. Commun. 41 (2011) 17, 2511-2516, http://dx.
An efficient one-pot synthesis of N
2-(tetrazol-5-yl)-6-aryl/heteroaryl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diamine derivatives was developed by reacting 5-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrazole with aromatic aldehydes and cyanamide in pyridine under controlled microwave heating with high yields. X-ray crystallography confirmed the structure of obtained products.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
