This socialization aims to increase the knowledge of the people around the Special Economic Zone (KEK) by using a persuasive approach for the Kokoda community in the KEK of Sorong Regency, the infrastructure of this activity can be seen from two things, namely the impact of the socio-economic community and the level of community awareness around the KEK of Sorong Regency. Therefore, it is important for the process of building public awareness to face open competition in special economic zones in the future. This socialization is used with a persuasive approach to the leaders of Kokoda in the area around the KEK. One reason for this approach is that it is much more effective than a collective movement. Because the social basis of society is still very strong with social patrons, it is important that we use a persuasive approach.  

Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ceramah bervariasi dan dialog. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Kokoda yang bermukim di Jalan Viktori Km 9 Sorong, Papua Barat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah pencerahan tentang makna “torang basodara” antar suku di Papua Barat, harus ada kegiatan pendampingan yang harus dilakukan berulang kali melalui penataan kesadaran dan pola pikir generasi muda. di suku Kokoda. Hal menarik yang penulis temukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah tradisi “gelar tikar” sebagai cerita tradisional, menjadi wadah yang baik untuk membahas segala permasalahan yang muncul dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Pelaksanan Kepemimpinan Kepala Distrik Dalam Penyeenggaraan Organisasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan Kepala Distrik Sorong Barat telah optimal melakukan pelaksanaan kepemimpinannya dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip atau teknik-teknik kepemimpinan yang tepat guna dalam penyelenggaraan organisasi, hal tersebut ditandai dengan kemampuan  Kepala Distrik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pegawai menyesuaikan diri terhadap berbagai tuntutan dan perubahan yang terjadi, kemampuan dalam meningkatkan produktifitas kerja pegawainya untuk mencapai target sesuai tanggung jawab dan kewenangannya serta kemampuan Kepala Distrik dalam menciptakan kepuasan kerja bagi para pegawainya. Kemampuan para pegawai kantor Distrik Sorong Barat dalam menyesuaikan diri tehadap berbagai tuntutan aspirasi dan perubahan yang terjadi di lingkungan Pemerintah Distrik Sorong Barat  didukung sepenuhnya oleh pelaksanaan kepemimpinan Kepala Distrik khususnya dalam pelayanan administrasi sehingga membawa dampak meningkatnya kinerja pegawai secara keseluruhan.

This study aims to determine the role of leadership in improving the work discipline of employees of PT. Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Branch Sorong, research method using qualitative. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, the data collected in this study, both primary data and secondary data were re-examined in order to determine the completeness of the data obtained. The results of this study indicate that the Role of Leaders in Improving Work Discipline of Employees of PT. Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Sorong Branch, the Company aims to survive and achieve the expected profit in the future. Maintaining the viability of the company also means paying attention to and trying to guarantee and maintain a working workforce. Therefore, the role of a strong leadership figure is needed to answer the challenges that arise. exists, especially in business competition that demands various business competitiveness which will only appear new products in the competitive world of business, both in terms of strategy and in terms of implementation or operations, The role of leadership in increasing work discipline at PT Coca Cola Amatil Sorong branch is an important factor in the organization, because of the ability and skills of a leader in influencing his subordinates to achieve the goals achieved in an organization. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Sorong branch which can be an obstacle in realizing marketing strategies to increase sales volume is the obstacle that we always anticipate is the geographical location of West Papua with erratic weather in ordering products sometimes not on time to consumers, Efforts conducted by PT Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia, Sorong branch, one of the many companies in Sorong City that produce soft drinks. By recognizing competitors, the company can know where the position of its products is and wants to know what kinds of products are marketed and with careful strategy and planning, we continue to strive to enlarge our business in every City and Regency to compete with other businesses
