This study aims to identify problems in the implementation of bureaucratic reform in the field of employment, especially civil servants’ promotion. This study is carried out using a qualitative approach with the case study method. The data collection technique is done using observation, documentation study, and interviews with two key informants. The data is then analyzed in several stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that there is an injustice and non-transparent phenomenon in civil servants’ promotion, especially in the initial promotion, promotion by extraordinary work performance, and promotion by graduation certificate. This condition has the potential to cause corruption, collusion, and nepotism, and might reduce employee performance in providing public service.

This research is quantitative research to find out if the capital structure, size of the company and profitability have an influence on the value of the company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used purposive sampling, and as many as 39 companies that meet the sample kriteria. Hypothesis testing using data panel regression with Eviews 9 and a significant level of 5%. The hypothetical test result is that (1) the capital structure negatively affects the company's value (2) the size of the company positively affects the company's value (3) profitability does not affect the value of the company. Keywords: company value, capital structure, company size, profitability.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif untuk mengetahui apakah struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, dan sebanyak 39 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sampel. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi data panel dengan Eviews 9 dan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil uji hipotesis adalah (1) struktur modal berpengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan (2) ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan (3) profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci: nilai perusahaan, struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan,  profitabilitas.

Purpose: The intention of the research was to examine if there were any discrepancies in banks ’ financial performance before and after the introduction of financial tech firms. Research Methodology: The study's subject was registered banking on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with 38 banks chosen as a sample over a two-year period before the introduction of financial tech firms (2013-2014) and two years after the existence of financial tech firms (2016-2017). With a 5% significance rate, the tests utilized in this paper were Paired Sample T-test (normal data) and Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test (abnormal data) with SPSS 25 software assistance. Results: The outcomes of this research, after the arrival of financial technology enterprises, there is a discrepancy in profitability, liquidity, and capital. Limitations: This research's limitations are that certain banks did not leak consecutive financial statements during the research period, and earlier studies had no specific explanation on the same topic. Contribution: The insights can be used by academics as a reference, by the Bank as a foundation for financial management innovation, and by investors as a source of knowledge and consideration when making investment decisions.

This study aims to determine the role of BPR in the development of MSMEs. The research method uses a descriptive-qualitative analysis method. The population in this study are rural banks and MSMEs in the Lebak regency of Banten. The type of data used is secondary data and primary data The role of BPR in the development of MSMEs in the Lebak Regency of Banten with credit growth from 2016 - 2018 of 166.88% and MSME growth of 28.05%, the characteristics of MSME actors in the Lebak district of Banten is the age level of 40 -50 years and male sex with the majority of MSMEs married, and educated in high school, with experience managing businesses between 1 to 5 years, business characteristics, in general, financing customers of PT.
