Abstract
This paper shows the linguistic aspect in term of discourse analysis in the lyrics of song. Those aspects are cohesion device and grammatical cohesion. Cohesion devices divided into two descriptions, those are; grammatical and lexical cohesion devices. Grammatical cohesion contains reference, ellipsis, substitution, and conjunction while lexical cohesion contains collocation and reiteration. This research analyzes the lyrics from the soloist band namely Alec Benjamin entitle “Six feet apart”. After analyzing grammatical and lexical cohesion of six feet apart’s lyric, the result shows that the kinds of grammatical and lexical cohesion exist in the lyric. The first kind of grammatical cohesion which is found is reference. The kinds of references namely personal, adverbial demonstrative, selective nominal demonstrative, and comparative reference are found in the lyric. The most frequent reference which is used in the lyric is personal reference. The usage of cohesive devices is so important to make meaningful language to the lyrics of the song. The cohesion devices make the text united.. The function of lexical cohesion within the stanza in the lyric of six feet apart song is making a relationship and also it is used to express and to stress the singer’s idea.

This study aims to explain ecological intelligence contents in electronic Indonesian language course books for junior high school (JHS) students. The methods in the studywere literature review and content analysis. The ecological intelligence contents in thebooks include: (1) identifying ecosystem components; (2) comprehending the functionsand uses of the components; (3) understanding environmental management systems; (4)understanding environmental values which comprise local wisdom and religious andnormative values; (5) showing concern about environmental destruction and pollution; (6)adapting behavior to the environment; (7) solving problems arising from environmentalimpacts, either individually or collectively; (8) managing/preserving natural resources;and (9) exploiting the environment positively. The ecological intelligence contents are stilldominated by the cognitive aspect and have not emphasized the comprehension, valueinternalization, and application aspects.
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) services sector should be competent and capable enough to compete in the international arena. Hence, this conceptual paper is identifying challenges factors that could examine the enhancement of business performance, survival and success. Consequently, SMEs of services sectors' performance must also shift into the global knowledge-based economy. Therefore, the SMEs' business success sustainability highly depends on factors such as innovation, quality and intellectual capital. Furthermore, the strong knowledge of new challenges enables them to access the information of recent customer preferences, added values with current technologies. As a result, this study strives to investigate the factors that enhance the performance of SMEs services sector. In the end, this study, it is expected to contribute to new information and data support to the SMEs' in enhancing their performance in the services sector in central part of Malaysia as well employees, students and researchers. This would be the enabler solution for future challenges.
Abstract. Business Plan is an important document for entrepreneurs to guide them managing their business. Business Plan also assist the entrepreneur to strategies their business and manage future growth. That is why Malaysian government has foster all Higher Education Provider to set entrepreneurship education as compulsory course. One of the entrepreneurship education learning outcome is the student can write effective business plan. This study focused on enhancing student's understanding in entrepreneurship through business plan simulation. This study also considers which of the factor that most facilitate the business simulation that help the student to prepare effective business plan. The methodology of this study using quantitative approach with pre-and post-research design. 114 students take part as respondent in the business simulation and answer quantitative survey pre-question and post question. The crucial findings of this study are student characteristic factor after playing the simulation contribute much on facilitate business plan learning. The result has shown that the business plan simulation can enhance undergraduate student in understanding entrepreneurship by preparing effective business plan before opening new startup.
