This research aims to develop a test instrument to reveal sources of misconceptions based on visual representations so to produce instrument indicators of misconception on the concept of the base and height of the triangle. Testing of these instruments was carried out at SMAN 3 Teluk Keramat. This research is in the form of development research, with development procedures referring to the development of test instruments proposed by Djemari Mardapi, consisting of eight steps, namely: designing test instruments, developing test instruments, examining test instruments (validating test instruments), conducting test trials, analyzing test items, improve the test (revision), carry out the test (field trials) and interpretation the test results. Based on the analysis of the misconception test items, the misconception indicator was obtained in drawing the base and height of the triangle with various variations of the visual representation of the triangle and the misconception in determining the base of the triangle from the combination of triangular shapes.Keywords: Develop a Test Instrument, Sources of Misconceptions, The Base and Height of the Triangle, Visual Representations
This study aims to describe the process and results of developing E-teaching modules in the independent learning curriculum through the REACT Strategy (Relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, and transferring) with the help of professional Flip PDF, for students in Phase E of Accounting Expertise Concentration. In the structure of the independent learning curriculum for Vocational High Schools, there are 2 groups of subjects, namely general subjects (A) and groups of vocational subjects (B). needed by the world of work, mastering science and technology, arts and culture. E-module development using the ADDIE model with the stages of development: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is a mathematics e-module with the REACT Strategy assisted by a professional flip pdf application that can be accessed by students using Android. Based on the results of utilization in the field, the resulting E-module can improve the problem-solving ability of students. This e-module with the REACT strategy assisted by flip PDF is feasible to be used as an alternative in mathematics learning, especially to familiarize students with being able to define problems, diagnose problems, formulate alternative strategies, choose alternative strategies and evaluate in mathematics lessons that incorporate technology. Based on the results of 28 students' answers to banking math problems in the e-module, the average score is 61.78 with a percentage score of 77.23% with a high category.
LatarBelakang: Berdasarkan hasil pengalaman mengajar materi trigonometri diketahui bahwa motivasi belajar sebagian besar siswa X IPA SMAN 3 Sanggau sangat rendah. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah peningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa X IPA materi Trigonometri melalui GeoGebra. Metode: Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Pengumpulan data melalui non tes. Teknik non tes digunakan untuk mengetahui perkembangan motivasi belajar dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi digunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil: Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari rendah menjadi tinggi sehingga menurut teoritik dan empirik menggunakan GeoGebra pada materi Trigonometri dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Sanggau semester genap tahun 2021/2022. Kesimpulan: Teoritik dan empirik dengan menggunakan GeoGebra dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika materi Trigonometri bagi siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Sanggau semester genap tahun 2021/2022.
<p>This study aims to obtain objective information about increasing in writing skill about definitions and theorems in symbolic form students through RT models in the sets, all kind of relations and functions in set and logic courses. In addition, this study develop the ability of understanding of definitions and theorems, because the ability of students to write definitions and theorems in symbolic form will foster the ability of understanding of the definitions and theorems.The sample of this study are the first semester students in class A2 who follow sets and logic course in mathematics education program of PMIPA FKIP Untan 2016-2017. Implementation focus on subject, sets and all kind of relations and functions.The data collection conducted in providing achievement test after being given treatment. Form of test is Essai with 15 questions which consist of 4 questions from subject set, 8 questions from kind of relations and 3 questions from functions.The results showed if the Reciprocal Teaching Model is one of model that could improve the writing skill about definitions and theorems through symbolic form in the subject matter ; Sets, kind of relations, functions in Sets and Logic courses.</p>
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI dalam materi lingkaran di SMA Panca Setya Sintang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one-shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Panca Setya Sintang. Sementara sampel yang digunakan yaitu peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data hasil belajar menggunakan teknik pengukuran dengan mmberikan tes soal essay dalam materi lingkaran kepada peserta didik. Untuk melihat kekonsistenan dalam pencapaian hasil belajar, maka setelah dua minggu kemudian diberikan tes tunda. Besar rata-rata nilai pada saat tes akhir adalah 53,82, sedangkan rata-rata nilai pada saat tes tunda adalah 55,56. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t tes rata-rata satu sampel diperoleh nilai dan dengan taraf signifikan hal ini berarti maka diterima artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata nilai peserta didik pada saat tes akhir dan tes tunda. Maka terjadi kekonsistenan antara nilai tes akhir dan nilai tes tunda, hal ini berarti penerapan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik pada materi lingkaran berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didikKata Kunci : Pengaruh, Pendidikan Matematika Realistik, Hasil Belajar
