Research on the method to realize eco-neighbourhood -From the analysis of French Ecoquartier Label system and certificated example in Japan 1*西村愛・2**瀬田史彦 1*Ai NISHIMURA, 2**Fumihiko SETA The environmental urban strategy is important for responding to the global environmental issues. Under the circumstances that various countries are trying to take these efforts, it is needed to find the method for solving both global environmental issues and local social issues at the same time.This paper aims to clarify the characteristics of French method by the analysis of the certification system in France called 'Ecoquartier' based on the comparison with Japanese systems. The French system tries for both public and private sectors to evaluate the concrete district project by especially emphasizing the process of projects and considering regional regenerations.
