Indications of the failure of green turtle protection are shown by the high exploitation of green turtles in various parts of Indonesia, the decrease in the number of turtles landing on nesting beaches, and the low level of community support. The threat of extinction of green turtles is increasingly real if the government does not immediately stop the exploitation of green turtles. To save green turtles from extinction, it is necessary to analyze the protection policies and formulate alternative protection for green turtles in the future. Analysis of the green turtle protection policy is carried out on the conservation activities of the Marine and Fisheries Service. The results of the policy analysis are needed to learn about the effectiveness of protection and management performance of green turtles in the formulation of alternative protection for sea turtles. The Indonesian government through related agencies, such as the Office of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, and the Ministry of Environment have issued several regulations and policies for the protection of endangered species, such as Ratification of the United Nations Convention on Biodiversity through Law No. 5 of 1994, the ratification of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species through Presidential Decree No. 43 of 1978; Stipulation of Government Regulation No. 7 of 1999 and Government Regulation No. 8 of 1999. Stipulation of Government Regulation No. 7 of 1999 has protected green turtles along with 236 species of animals and 58 other plant species in the territory of Indonesia.

The criminal justice system in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Justice System is required to prioritize a Restorative justice approach. So in criminal law, there is a system called Restorative Justice or diversion. Restorative justice is the settlement of criminal cases by involving the perpetrator, victim, family of the perpetrator/victim, and other related parties to jointly seek a just settlement by emphasizing restoration to its original state and not retaliation. The system is more child-friendly. Because with that, children will be free from bad stigma if they have undergone criminal justice. The phenomenon of disputes between parents and children in the timeline is increasingly showing an increasing number of violence perpetrated by parents against children, so that children become potential victims of violence committed by anyone, including parents who are supposed to protect their children from verbal and other forms of violence physique. Restorative justice is an approach to resolving conflicts outside the court that focuses on the interests of the victims and perpetrators, as well as the people involved, not implementing the principle of imposing criminal sanctions on perpetrators which do not have any effect or benefit.
Coronavirus Disease 19Also known as Covid-19, it is a group of viruses from the Coronaviridae subfamily Orthocronavirinae and the Nidoviral order. Viruses in this group cause disease in mammals and birds, including humans. Coronaviruses cause respiratory infections in humans. Virus-hit Indonesia imposes sweeping social restrictions as an effort to break the chain of the spread and transmission of the coronavirus. With the enactment of the PSBB, the closure of various crowded places such as schools, workplaces, markets, and others also resulted in a negative impact on the community, namely an increase in the occurrence of crime. One of them is the spread of hoax news that is currently rampant in the Covid-19 pandemic. The police as law enforcement officers have the right to handle and deal with the spread of hoax news related to the prevention and transmission of the Covid-19 pandemic.
