This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of instrumentation requirements, the feasibility category of the Higher Order Thinking Skills an assessment instrument in terms of an expert validation. The research and the development model applied is 4-D (four-D) model. The trial design consisted of content validation tests by experts and analyzed by Aiken's formula. The assessment instrument obtained 37 items that are suitable for use, which means the assessment instrument has met the content validity by the expert judgment which has been analyzed using Aiken's V of 0.85, which means that all items are valid.
This study aims to determine the suitability, feasibility, and integration of character and psychomotor in class XI senior high school chemistry practicum guidebooks used in schools with BSNP criteria. This study is a research and development model modified from the Borg & Gall model. In this study, there are 5 stages carried out; The needs analysis stage, the development stage, the validation stage, the revision stage and the product trial. This research trial was conducted at the Satrya Budi Perdagangan private high school, Simalungun regency. The sample in this study was taken by using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used BSNP questionnaires, test instrument sheets, character assessment observation sheets, and psychomotor assessment observation sheets. Research result; (2) The innovative chemistry lab guide based on multimedia for class XI Semester II is integrated with character education according to The 2013 curriculum is included in the valid and feasible category for use on average (3) The practicum guide developed can develop the character education values of students, this can be seen from the increase in the attitude value of students before and after using an innovative chemistry-based practical guide multimedia class XI senior high school Semester II integrated character education according to the 2013 curriculum. (4) There are differences in the learning outcomes of students who use an innovative chemistry practicum guide based on multimedia high school grade XI Semester II integrated character education according to the 2013 curriculum with students who use a chemistry lab guide for students with sig. < α (0.000 < 0.05) (5) There are differences in the attitude (character) and psychomotor (skills) values of students who use innovative chemistry lab guides based on multimedia high school grade XI Semester II integrated character education according to the 2013 curriculum with students using chemistry lab guide guide for students.
The utilization of corn husk and coffee husk waste has not been maximized. This research was carried out by making composites using fibers from corn and coffee husks. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of the tensile strength and bending strength of the composite of corn husk fiber and coffee husk fiber at optimal fiber volume variations. This study was conducted with variations in the volume ratio of corn husk fiber and coffee husk used, namely: (10% : 90%), (20% : 80%), (30% : 70%), (40% : 60%) and (50% : 50%). The previously modified fibers with 5% NaOH treatment for corn husk fibers and 3% NaOH for coffee husk fibers. The method used in specimen printing is the Hand Lay Up method. The results for the tensile test at 0% fiber variation of 5.174 MPa, 10% : 90% variation of 7.539 MPa, 20% : 80% variation of 7.144 MPa, 30% : 70% variation of 7.901 MPa, 40% : 60% variation of 7.970 MPa and a variation of 50%: 50% of 8.321 MPa. The results for the maximum bending test were obtained at a variation of 50%: 50% of 7.720 MPa.
This study aims to measure and detect student misconceptions that occur in the concept of reaction rate based on the diagnosis results of Grade XI Negeri 2 Kabanjahe students and to show subconceptions that experienced both high and low misconceptions. The study was conducted in March–April 2022. The type of research used is Research and Development with ADDIE development. Methods used are tests, anchors, interviews and documentation. The diagnostic test developed is a threetitier multiple choice diagnostic test consisting of an answer choice, reason and confidence level. Validation result by validator indicates the developed instrument is valid. The validity of the developed test is 20 valid problems and 10 invalid problems. Reliability test results show a reliability figure of 0.85. The highest percentage of misconceptions in collision theory is 51.5% and the lowest percentage of misconceptions in reaction order and reaction rate equations is 26.72%. The percentage of students who understand the concept of reaction rate is 35%. The percentage of categories did not understand the concept of reaction rate by 27% and the percentage of misconceptions of reaction rate by 38%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
