This study aims to analyze the effect of investment knowledge, investment motivation, financial literacy and family environment on the interest in investing in the capital market. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this study were students of the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University in the year 2016 and 2017 with the sample criteria of active students of FEB UMP and those who were / had taken financial management and entrepreneurship courses. Data collection in this study using the questionnaire method. Instrument testing was analyzed using validity test and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used in this study are classic assumptions and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results showed that: (1) investment knowledge, investment motivation, and financial literacy simultaneously had a significant effect on investment interest. (2) investment knowledge partially does not affect investment interest. (3) investment motivation partially has a significant effect on investment interest. (4) financial literacy partially has a significant effect on investment interest. (5) the family environment partially has a significant effect on investment interest.

This study aims to determine the factors that influence customers' interest in saving at Jateng Syariah Bank. This study uses quantitative research methods, non-probability sampling techniques can be obtained through purposive sampling. The population in this study was a customer at Purwokerto Syariah Bank Jateng and was 17 years old. Samples in this study were 170 respondents. The research method used in this study is validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, F test, t test. Location has no significant negative effect on saving interest, Service has a significant positive effect on saving interest, Knowledge has a significant positive effect on saving interest, Promotion has no significant positive effect on saving interest, Product has no significant positive effect on saving interest, Price has no significant positive effect on interest save.
This study examines the effect of financial literacy and financial experience on financial performance using financial behavior as a mediator. One novelty of this research is to test the role of financial behavior as a mediating variable. The sample of this study was 91 SMEs located in Purwokerto, Indonesia. This study provides evidence of the positive effect of financial literacy on SMEs' financial behavior and financial performance. This study has not provided evidence of the mediating role of financial behavior on the relationship between financial literacy and financial experience on SME financial performance.
Caesalpinia sappan is studied for several biological activities. The aim of this research is to determine the cytotoxic and antimigratory activities of Caesalpinia sappan active fraction in combination with cisplatin on human TNBC cells (MDA-MB-231). Caesalpinia sappan heartwood was extracted with methanol. Then, several fractions of the methanol extract were obtained by using a liquid-liquid extraction method followed by column chromatography. The cytotoxicity was determined using MTT assay. Synergistic effects were analyzed by calculating the combination index (CI). Migration was examined using wound-healing assay. Levels of MMP2 activity were determined with gelatin zymography assay. The results showed that most of the fractions included in this study exhibited cytotoxic effects against MDA-MB-231 cells, and C fraction demonstrated the highest cytotoxic activity of all fractions. The combination of C-cisplatin revealed a synergistic inhibitory effect on MDA-MB-231 cell growth (CI<1). Furthermore, C fraction, alone and in combination with cisplatin, inhibited migration of MDA-MB-231 and suppressed MMP2 activity. The C fraction isolated from Caesalpinia sappan increased the cytotoxic and antimigratory activities of cisplatin on MDA-MB-231 cells. Based on these findings, the potential of Caesalpinia sappan to act as a supportive agent in metastatic TNBC treatment with cisplatin warrants further exploration.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
