To elucidate the seasonal and inter-annual variation of CO, exchanges between the atmosphere and paddy field, the CO, flux has been measured by the eddy correlation technique at the experimental farm of the Agricultural Faculty, Okayama University, since December in +332. The CO, sensor, however, does not work under rainy conditions. The improved aerodynamic technique was developed and used to fill the gap in the eddy flux data. This technique gave reasonable CO, fluxes even on rainy days. The reliability of the technique was also confirmed by comparing CO, fluxes with those measured by the eddy correlation technique.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
