We explored how emotional cues presented in visual and haptic modalities interact. We constructed an affective haptic dataset, and used the emotional visual stimuli from the International Affective Picture System (IAPS). Participants were asked to rate the visual stimuli, haptic stimuli and visualhaptic stimuli. Analysis of the results indicated that the presence of haptic stimulus affects the arousal of the visual stimulus, but does not affect the valence significantly. We further explored this interaction in terms of the intensity, frequency, waveform and rhythm of the haptic stimuli. Finally, we generated a set of guidelines on visual-haptic interaction that could be used to design multimodal affective feedback.
WSN has been exhilarated in many application areas such as military, medical, environment, etc. Due to the rapid increase in applications, it causes proportionality to security threats. Mostly, nodes used, are independent of human reach and dependent on their limited resources, the major challenges can be framed as energy consumption and resource reliability. Introduction: Due to the limitation of resources in the sensor nodes, the traditionally intensive security mechanism is not feasible for WSNs. This limitation brought the concept of Digital watermarking in existence. The intent of this paper is to investigate the security related issues and role of watermarking in wireless sensor networks. Watermarking is an effective way to provide security, integrity, data aggregation and robustness in WSN. Mehtod: Digital watermarking is essential in WSN since it provides security in various forms such as confidentiality, service availability and data freshness. We have briefly discussed the various security requirements in the wireless sensor networks. Several issues and challenges, as well as the various threats of WMSN, is also considered. The related work, suggests that lots of research work are required to improve the security and authentication issues of WMSN by digital watermarking. This survey contribution will be helpful for researcher to accomplish effective watermarking scheme for WSN. Result: WSN is the collection of sensors that are spread in the environment. They measure and monitor physical conditions like temperature, sound, pressure, humidity, etc. and organize the collected data at the main location. The base station then forwards the data to end-users who analyze and make strategic decisions. Nowadays the modern network is bi-directional i.e. we can control the activity of the sensor. The central stations, unlike another sensor network, have infinite power, plenty of memory, powerful processors and a high bandwidth link. Whereas sensors are small in size, have fewer computation abilities, transfer wirelessly and are power-driven by small batteries Conclusion: Watermarking is an effective way to provide security, integrity, data aggregation and robustness in WSN. Digital watermarking is essential in WSN since it provides security in various forms such as confidentiality, data integrity, service availability and data freshness. In this paper, we have briefly discussed the various security requirements in the wireless sensor networks. We have also discussed work done by several authors in WSN with watermarking techniques Discussion: Wireless network faces more challenges as compared to wired network. In WSN, maximum amount of data and information can be stealed and effortlessly accessed during transmission. The nodes in a wireless sensor network (WSN) are resources constrained. Due to which WSNs have certain challenges i.e. processing power, storage and computational capacity and high bandwidth demand. Security schemes are not easy to design since the network tends to be large and ad-hoc. The analysis for privacy and security have been explored by some authors like J. Zhu et al. In recent years, a cryptography-based security designs have been proposed for WSNs. Cryptography is the process of concealing the information into the cipher text by encrypting it.
The carotid sheath enclosing the common carotid artery, internal jugular vein, vagus and the deep jugular lymph nodes continues around the vessels of the superior mediastinum. This sheath formed by the investing fascia, prevertebral fascia and the pre-tracheal fascia is captioned the Lincoln s highway. Suppurative pathology of the Lincoln highway presents as a vertical swelling at the anterior border of the sternomastoid. USG, CT and MRI confirms the diagnosis and prompts surgical intervention and thus prevents intra thoracic spread with its morbidity and mortality.
Shweta Pradara or excessive vaginal discharge is one of the commonest complaints among women of reproductive age group. An increase in the normal vaginal secretion develops physiologically at puberty, at ovulation, premenstrual phase and during pregnancy. Excessive discharge causes irritation and itching in the genetalia. Ayurveda explained this condition as Shweta Pradara. Shweta Pradara is a symptom which is present in most of the diseases or present as a complication. Shweta Pradara is not a disease it produces as a symptom, hence etiopathogenesis of principal disease and Shweta Pradara would be same. It is a Kaphaja disorder at the place of Apana Vayu. A 47 years old female patient suffering from intermittent Yonigata Shwet Strava since two years with aggravation of symptoms from one week presented to Prasuti Tantra Evam Stree Roga OPD. Yonigat Shwet Strava was associated with Yoni Kandu, Katishool, Yoni Daha. On enquiry, it was found that she was the known case of Type II Diabetes Mellitus since 10 years. She was taking medication for the same but her blood sugar levels were uncontrolled in spite of taking medication as per her recent investigations. In this case Shwet Pradar was the Updrava of Madhumeh, thus line of management was planned to control her sugar level by supplementing Ayurvedic drugs along with allopathic medicine for DM II (Madhumeh) and treated her with Yoniprakshalan with Triphala Kwath followed by Cutis ointment tamponing per vaginum for 14 days. She had followed the schedule of Yoni Prakshalana, oral medicines and Pathya-Apathya properly. It was observed that, symptoms were started to reduce gradually which has been depicted by documentation of investigations and local examination in this case study.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
