The quality of service currently is a subject that is becoming increasingly important in electrical systems worldwide because of the efficiency and optimization of energy resources used and produced in the electricity sector, where several countries have had to make rules regulating the characteristics of electrical service in different sectors, Generation, transmission and Distribution, trying to make the system reliable, efficient and safe. These quality processes must be framed at all times under strict regulatory framework, to define the processes of the activities related to the electric sector. Based on the above, this article show a summary of the regulatory framework which being used in the electric sectors in different countries iberoamerican, moving beyond the indicators of quality of service for the area of electricity transmission using each one of the countries surveyed, in order to make comparisons between each of them.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
