A high static gain DC-DC converter based on the CUK topology is presented in this paper. The proposed converter presents an input and output current source characteristic allowing the integration of this converter with a second stage with input current source characteristic. Some applications of the proposed converter are renewable power sources and grid-tie systems. The theoretical and experimental analysis of a 220 W DC-DC prototype with input voltage 30 V and output voltage equal to 230 V operating at 100 kHz with efficiency equal to 94.5% are presented in the paper.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
