The purpose of this article is to identify the characteristics that empirical entrepreneurs present to ensure that their companies are successful and competitive in the market, if it is based on the fact that the majority of ventures are being created and directed by people who do not have professional training, it is pertinent to establish what makes them stay in the market. The study will be directed under a type of descriptive research with a mixed approach, where the population will be made up of legally constituted companies in the city of Ocaña.
