PTC developing after internal exposure to radioiodine does not display specific risk factors for recurrence different from those in sporadic PTC. Common treatment approaches for patients with PTC should be recommended regardless of a history of radiation exposure.
The problem of constructing a «correct» mathematical model of the bell-shaped reaction of a scanning infrared sensor to a point object is considered. The suggested model takes into account changes in amplitude, duration and a shape of channel pulses in different situations when a light spot hits photosensitive areas. The results of computer modeling have shown low efficiency of traditional matched filtering in estimating amplitude of pulses from point objects when the sin2 function is used as a pulse model.
For oblique incidence of laser radiation on the target, the breakdown of air and erosive jet are separated in time and space. The electron density is higher in the air breakdown area while Al I density is higher in an erosive plume area. We also defined plasma expansion mechanism and estimate the time of erosive plume formation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
