A green campus refers to university with an environmental perspective that prioritizes efforts to protect, manage, and preserve the environmental sustainability in higher education (Wimala et al., 2016). This article aims to analyze the feasibility and readiness of UIN Malang management towards a university that is oriented towards environmental well-being in the perspective of ISO 14001. By carrying out a qualitative approach, this study employs top management/leaders, lecturers, employees, students, and relevant documents at UIN Malang as data sources collected through a semi-structured interview and content analysis. The results showed that, to achieve a green campus, the management system of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang still unable to meet criteria of a good environmental management system from the perspective of ISO 14001:2015 as there are some basic requirements that have not been fulfilled by the university. To implement ISO 14001-based environmental management system, UIN Malang must create a roadmap that includes a consistent and sustainable management cycle of Plan-Do-Check-Action.
This research study was aimed at revealing the effectiveness of the learning guidance services in the guidance and counseling program, particularly: the application, the effectiveness and (4) the problem arising and its causes. This research was a case study. The data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the interactive model and the quantitative descriptive technique.The research findings showed that: (1) the application is effective. As many as 78.78% respondents said that the work of guiding teachers was effective and 68.99% respondents said that subject matter teachers were involved in guiding processes. (2) The results of learning guidance services given academic and nonacademic advantages. As many as 71.52% respondents said that learning guidance services also academic advantages. As many as 86.08% respondents said that learning guidance services also gave non-academic advantages. (3) The problems faced by counselors in applying learning guidance services include the limited time for them to give advice in the classroom and the lack of counselors. These problems are caused by too many class hours for religion lessons and there is no rule for counselors to get into the classrooms. Keywords: A. This research has been motivated by one study program or selection obtained in higher education which results in learning achievement and lack of understanding of students with courses so that researchers are interested in examining this phenomenon because continuing higher education requires maturity in determining the choice to choose a campus and study program that has been developed. If desired, each election has its own reasons, both internally and externally. This study aims (1) to determine the most dominant factor influencing students in choosing social studies education study programs (2) to determine the effect of learning achievement among social studies education students based on the influencing factors. The research method is a quantitative approach, the type of exploratory and correlational research is the 2019 2020, 2021 student sample batch of 188 students. Questionnaire and documentation instruments, data analysis using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test, factor analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of the study (1) the most dominant factors influencing students in choosing Social Science education study programs, internal factors of interest with a percentage of 28%, (2) the influence of student achievement in choosing study programs based on internal factors did not affect student achievement, while based on external factors have an effect on student achievement. Abstrak Penelitian ini telah dilatarbelakangi salah progam studi atau pemilihan yang didapat dalam perguruan tinggi yang mengakibatkan pada prestasi belajar dan kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa dengan mata kuliah sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti fenomena tersebut karena melanjutkan keperguruan tinggi memerlukan kematangan dalam menentukan pilihan untuk memilih kampus serta progam studi yang telah diinginkan maka setiap pemilihan tersebut mempunyai alasan tersendiri baik secara internal maupun eksternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam memilih prodi pendidikan IPS (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh prestasi belajar antara mahasiswa pendidikan IPS berdasarkan faktor yang mempengaruhi. Metode penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif jenis penelitian eksploratif dan korelasional sampel mahasiswa angkatan 2019, 2020, 2021 berjumlah 188 mahasiswa. Instrumen kuisoner dan dokumentasi, analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis faktor dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian (1) faktor-faktor yang paling domina mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam memilih prodi pendidikan ilmu Pengatahuan Sosial faktor internal i minat dengan hasil persentase 28%, (2) pengaruh prestasi belajar mahasiswa memilih prodi berdasarkan faktor internal tidak berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa, sedangkan berdasarkan faktor eksternal telah berpengaruh pada prestasi mahasiswa.
