This research aims to analyze the efficiency of paddy marketing system and value added of rice in Pesawaran District. This research was conducted by survey method. The research location is chosen purposively i Kota Jawa Village and Gunung Sari Village, Way Khilau Subdistrict Pesawaran District with consideration that the location is one of the central of paddy production. The samples of this research were 51 paddy farmers who were selected by simple random sampling. The research data was collected in June-July 2017 and analyzed by descriptive and quantitative analysis. The method used in this research is the analysis of the model of S-C-P (structure, conduct, and performance) and used Hayami method to determine the value-added of the rice. The S-C-P model was used to analysis marketing system efficiency. The results showed that paddy marketing system in Pesawaran District was efficient, it could be seen from the producer's share who greater than 50%. There were three rice milling unit (RMU) in research location and all of that rice miling unit gave a positive value-added to owner.
This study aims to analyze the flow pattern of supply chain of jackfruits, supply chain performance, supply chain efficiency, and calculate the added value products of Jackfruits chip in Panda Alami Agroindustry. This study is conducted purposely in Panda Alami Agroindustry in Gedong Tataan Sub-district of Pesawaran District. The data is collected in Februari 2017, performance measurements are made by comparing measurement indicators with FoodSCOR Card indicators. Efficiency calculations are performed using a software deap 2.1, the calculation of value added is done by Hayami added value method. The result showed that the flow pattern starting from the farmers as the main raw material supplier. The performance of the supplier of Panda Alami Agroindustry was good, based on compared value of FoodSCOR card. Efficiency measurements indicated that only 37.5 percent of supply chain actors were already efficient for DMU farmers’ category, and 100 percent efficient for retail and agroindustry category. The calculation of the added value of jackfruits chips of Panda Alami Agroindustry showed positive value, it meant that agroindustry was feasible to be developed.Key words: added value, agroindustry, efficiency, farmers, jackfruits, performance
This research aimed to analyze the efficiency of clove marketing system in Pesisir Barat Regency. The research data was collected in Karya Penggawa and Pesisir Utara Subdistrict of Pesisir Barat Regency in January -February 2017. This location was chosen purposively. Farmer respondents were chosen randomly, while marketing channel respondents were taken by tracing marketing networks. Data consisted of primary and secondary data. Data analysis included analysis of marketing system efficiency. The results showed that the marketing system of clove in Pesisir Barat Regency was inefficient with producer share (PS) 96.51%, with the following conditions as followed. The market structure was in imperfect competition (oligopsoni), clove farmers had no difficulty in marketing their product and there was one marketing channel in the market performance. Marketing margin was Rp3.157,46/kg and Ratio Profit Margin (RPM) 0.93%.
This study aims to analyze the benefits of vegetable farming and preparation of vegetable farming strategy development. The research was conducted in Agropolitan Area of Tanggamus Regency which was chosen purposively. The respondents were 48 farmers and 18 traders. The first objective is analyzed quantitatively using income analysis and R/C. The second objective is analyzed descriptively by using marketing analysis. The results showed that vegetable farming profit in Agropolitan Area of Tanggamus Regency is feasible and profitable with value of R/C > 1. Chili Vegetable is a superior commodity on the income level of farmers. The marketing system of the vegetable in agropolitan region in Tanggamus Dictritc was not efficient since the margin profit ratio in each marketing organization is not even, and the price difference in each marketing organization is too large.
This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility and the risk of oyster mushroom cultivation which is conducted in Lampung Province, especially in Metro and Bandar Lampung City. The locations of the research are chosen purposively by considerating that both places were the largest harvesting areas and the highest oyster mushroom production. The data is collected in month of May 2017, in which respondents are taken by census method with the amount of seven cultivators. They are divided into three categories based on their techniques they use, i.e., the cultivators producing the planting media to be cultivated and partly to be sold, the cultivators producing the planting media to be cultivated only, and the cultivators purchasing the planting media to be cultivated. Furthermore, the financial and risk analyses are analyzed by the quantitative analysis.
