Abstract-One of the means of increasing the availability of statistics information to local governments are information and analytical systems. The authors analysed and revealed the shortcomings of the current information and analytical systems at the regional and federal levels in Russia. The study of the information needs of local self-government bodies made it possible to conclude that it is necessary to supplement the municipal statistics with new indicators. They can be formed both on the basis of information, received by state statistics bodies within the framework of the existing federal statistical observations, and on the basis of data, included in new forms of static reporting received from enterprises and organizations. In the opinion of the authors, the first of the above-mentioned modes of using the available information is more preferable, since it does not require additional financial and labor costs from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service. In turn, the second mode helps to fill the existing gap in the information required by the authorities and management on the various levels -federal, regional and local. The authors proposed new indicators of municipal statistics, formed using the information on the existing and new forms of federal statistical observation. The figures for calculating new indicators can be drawn from both administrative and census data. The proposed indicators cover three directions of the development of a municipal entity: the economic situation, the state of transport infrastructure and transport communication, the innovative activities of organizations operating in the municipality.

Ensuring food security and promoting agricultural development are included in the priority goals of sustainable development until 2030. The structural complexity and multidimensionality of food security in the region requires a clear methodology for its assessment. The article provides an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods for assessing the food security of a region in the Russian Federation. The authors proposed a methodology for assessing the food security of a region, which makes it possible to translate the qualitative characteristics of indicators into a unified quantitative characteristic, by considering three possible options for interpreting the indicators. This makes it possible to form a final aggregate assessment of the level of food security in the region and track it in dynamics through the prism of the development of the agro-industrial complex.

The urgency of the problem investigated in the paper is due to the fact that the stable functioning and development of business entities, sectors of the economy, regions, and the country cannot be implemented without investments. However, the modern paradigm of regional development requires new approaches in the conduct of investment policy, resulting from the change of strategic priorities in the formation of spatial development strategies. The need to develop innovative technologies, the introduction of digital technologies in the implementation of technological processes in many sectors of the economy leads to increased investment policy in the regions. It is worth noting that the implementation of the investment policy of the regions is complicated by crisis phenomena and unfavorable political situation in the world, which causes a slowdown in economic growth in the country. The purpose of the paper is to study the issues of identifying innovative investment projects aimed at introducing modern information systems (using the example of Sverdlovsk Region). The leading method in the study of this problem is the statistical one, which is a method of quantitative analysis of a multitude of homogeneous facts, which in the aggregate cause the transition of quantitative changes into qualitative ones. The paper presents the results of analysis and evaluation of a number of indicators characterizing the investment policy of the region. Furthermore, an assessment of the volume of investments in the introduction and implementation of innovative information systems which ensure the improvement of the infrastructure of the studied area has been carried out. The materials of the paper are of practical value for professionals involved in the realization of digital technologies in the implementation of the investment policy of the region.
