Today, the priority task of the higher education institution in the artistic specialty is to prepare a future specialist in the Folk-Art Culture, capable of carrying out creative and innovative activities at a high professional level. One of the effective methods of teaching the humanities is the case study method, but its applicability in the training of cultural and art workers requires adequate research. The study is aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the case method when training in the Folk-Art Culture specialty. The study used a complex of theoretical (analysis of scientific literature and pedagogical experience in related fields of pedagogy) and empirical (pedagogical experiment) research methods. The article considers the application of the case method in the preparation of specialists in arts and culture and describes several cases applied in the process of mastering folk culture. Results of the research on the influence of the case method on the educational process allow the authors to say that the case method, aimed at independent knowledge acquisition by students, provides for the education of comprehensively developed, responsible, and thinking persons. The main task of a modern educator is to select educational technology adequate to the specialty, forming students' analytical skills, as well as their ability to independently acquire knowledge, apply it in problem-solving, and make a choice in a non-standard situation. The main conclusion of the research is that due to its versatility, the case method can be adapted to the educational process in arts and culture universities at different educational stages.
The demand to improve physical education process of elementary school pupils by the tools of innovative dancing fitness branch – Zumba Kids is described in the article. Positive changes in dynamics among children have occurred in indicators of functional and physical preparation in conditions of the experiment. The goal of the work is the optimization process of physical education of elementary school pupils by Zumba Kids tools. There were investigated children’s physical development, functional and physical preparation and experimentally was checked the effectiveness of the implementation program of Zumba Kids tolls into process of physical education. There were 54 participants, 26 among them are boys and 28 are girls (the children’s age is 9 years old). The methods of the research are theoretical analysis and literature sources generalization; physiological research methods; pedagogical observation (passing of control standards); pedagogical experiment and mathematical statistics methods. There are presented and scientifically justified the program of implementing Zumba Kids tools into physical education lessons of elementary school pupils. The content of the program consists of the synthesis of energetic modern dances with aerobics, fitness exercises, stretching and also exercises for breathing exercises and muscle relaxation. The elaborated program is realized in the educational process and proved its effectiveness. The results of investigation have shown its positive influence on the functional and physical preparation of elementary school pupils. It was proved by mathematical statistics methods.
Questions, connected with conduction educational reforms on the modern stage in Ukraine, are discovered in this article. Those changes are connected with desire of Ukrainian society to join European society and to sigh Association with European Union. The educational reform is implemented in primary school. The goal is to find out and analyze physical education teachers’ and primary school teachers’ opinion about implementation educational changes on the present stage in Ukraine. In due to realize such goal we applied literature sources analysis and questionnaire. The questions were answered by 100 physical education teachers and 104 primary school teachers from Lviv region. We have discovered opinion of physical education teachers and primary school teachers is common. The highest level of support got: opportunity to choose and create educational program in terms of educational standards (82% of physical education teachers, 78,9% of primary education teachers), providing different forms of elementary education (76% and 73,1% respectively), applying game methods in studying in elementary school (72% and 69,23% respectively). We have noticed difference in teachers’ attitude towards verbal evaluation of pupils during physical education lessons, progressive forms of retraining and teachers’ independent attestation. Teachers do not support 12-years studying period and implementing the inclusion.
The purpose of this study was to discover the peculiarities of students’ physical activities that study at higher educational institutions with kinesiology and health majors in the setting of COVID-19 pandemic. In order to accomplish it, an online survey was conducted among a total of 236 students of Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Boberskyj. With its help, we were able to determine both domestic and organized physical activity levels’ self-assessments of the sample group before and during the quarantine restrictions. The majority of the students evaluated their physical activity levels as “excellent” and “good”. No significant changes among the physical activity assessments were not tracked during the quarantine restrictions. We established that 59% of the study group had regularly visited gyms before the pandemic breakout and 12% of the students systematic did home exercises. The remainder of active students (26%) exercised seldom. Before the pandemic, only 3% of the participants had not engaged themselves into organized physical activities. We observed an overall studentship physical activity decrease in terms of instances and intensity during the quarantine limitations. The forms of physical activities were substantially changed. Thus, the students began to stroll more often, as well as train alone or with online-coaches. Cardio and muscle strengthening remained dominant among activities both before and after the quarantine. After the quarantine restriction weakening, half of the study group re-embarked on gym training. 28% of the students continued exercising the same way they did during the quarantine. 12% of the respondents exercised on their owns. 7% of the participants did not return to training. With the respect to the results of this study, we can infer that Ukrainian students prefer group exercises where they can interact with either coach or other participant of the training sessions, as well as modern technologies cannot fully fulfill their needs of physical activity.
The article is dedicated to studying of the influence of boxing trainings on thinking processes of the process of physical education and speed of sensorimotor of 15-17 years old boys. The goal of the research is optimization process of the physical education and improvement of the cognitive processes of 15-17 years old boys. The methods of the research are methodological literature analysis, psychophysiological reaction testing, applying computer complex, pedagogical experiment and mathematical statistics methods. It was proved that boxers have better ability to fast reacting (t=2.513 with p0.05), higher indicators of functional level of central nervous system (t=3.165 with p0.05), stability of reaction (t=2.248 with p0.05), better indicators of average reaction time with sound and visual interferences (t=3.104 with p0.05), better indicators of attention capacity (t=2.317) with p0.05). Attention diversification (t=2.793 with p0.05), that prove positive impact of boxing exercises on the thinking processes. There was implemented author program, applying no-contact special boxing exercises. There were 30 students, 15-17 years old, in the experiment. The indicators of the average time of the reaction (Wilcoxon criteria T.emp.=144 with p0.05) and stability of reaction (Wilcoxon criteria T.emp.=133 with p0.05) become better after the experiment. Other indicators like indicators of average reaction time with sound and visual interferences (Wilcoxon criteriaT.emp.=112 with p0.05), indicators of attention capacity (Wilcoxon criteriaT.emp.=61.5 with p0.05) and indicators of attention diversification (Wilcoxon criteriaT.emp.=7 with p0.05) become better as well. The conclusions are: the results of the research prove the effectiveness of the experimental program.
