The authors describe a 50-year-old-man who developed renal artery pseudoaneurysm (RAP) 3 months after blunt trauma, which he sustained during a car accident. The patient presented with fever and left loin pain of 1 month's duration. Ultrasound examination of the abdomen revealed a large cystic lesion in the upper pole of the left kidney, which was separated from the nondilatated pelvis of the kidney. The patient underwent left nephrectomy, and pathological examination confirmed the absence of infection, vasculitis, or malignancy.
