The energy demand is on the rise in all over the world; at the same time, the wastage of energy is also increasing. Footstep Power Generator “FsPG” is developed to help finding ways to utilize human force in most usable ways by generating a power that depends on footsteps. In this paper, we built a noise free power generator that depends on human foot force applied on the” piezoelectric” sensors which are placed bellow the platform. The force is converted to electrical energy. The produced electrical power is then stored in 12V rechargeable battery which helps the users to charge specific loads with a USB cable that is attached to the system. The system is successfully tested to generate a maximum voltage of 23.6 V across the cells when a maximum average weight of 75 Kg is applied on the system plates.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
