We report on measurements at room temperature of the pressure dependence of the resistance of the amorphous alloys, Co~Do "Zr"and Fe&po "Zr". The pressure coefficient of resistance ap is small and negative, becoming more negative with increase in the Zr concentration. For a given Zr concentration, np is sensibly the same whether Co or Fe makes up the alloy. Indeed, this same behavior is seen in Ni]00 &Zr" and Cu~oo "Zr", suggesting that it is only the Zr component in these alloys that plays a role in the pressure variation of the resistance.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
