Abstract: The rural and urban space in the city have undergo changes due to the process of urban expansion. Through normative acts, its dimensions were changed, Complementary Law No. 75/2013 ensured the expansion of the urban perimeter and fostered the growth of the city and urban practices in the current context. The investigation was carried out through the analysis of the municipal legislature, as well as the mapping of physical dimensions and their impacts. The aim here is to analyze the (re)production of urban space in Feira de Santana through the delimitations established in the legal-administrative scope and its implications for the districts, specifically Humildes. The role of municipal management together with the interests of real estate capital fostered this action, which caused the implementation of industries and housing complexes far from the center, specifically closer to the districts. This caused impacts for the local population in the countryside that changed their relationship with the land and the existing labor practices. Keywords: Rural, Urban, (Re)production of space.
