bladder cuff improved OS to 86.7 months (95% CI 65-108.4) compared to 39.9 months (95% CI 27.9-51.9, p[0.012) without. Multivariate analysis revealed ECOG performance status, localization in the ureter, initial creatine, surgical expertise and resecting a bladder cuff to be prognostic factors.CONCLUSIONS: UTUC patients benefit from aggressive surgical therapy and need a bladder cuff resected. Prognosis mainly depends on baseline characteristics that can't be medically influenced.
