Abstract. This study aims to determine the learning difficulties experienced by students in online learning and the efforts made in overcoming students' learning difficulties in biology during the online learning period. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 06 Makassar which consisted of 6 classes, namely XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3, XI MIPA 4, XI MIPA 5, and XI MIPA 6. The instrument used was a Likert scale closed questionnaire. The research data were obtained by distributing questionnaires regarding internal factors of student learning difficulties and conducting interviews with biology teachers in class XI of SMAN 06 Makassar. Based on the research results, there are two aspects that have an influence on learning difficulties on students 'internal factors, namely aspects of learning motivation and aspects of students' physical health conditions. In general, efforts to overcome student learning difficulties are based on the diata aspect, namely, by providing excessive motivation to students, both from teachers and from families. Because, the amount of learning motivation received by students will affect the learning outcomes received. In addition, efforts to prevent learning difficulties caused by physical health factors are by taking a moment to rest after using electronic devices for a long time. As well as the need for self-awareness of the importance of maintaining physical health.Keywords: online learning, student learning difficulties, learning motivation, physical health condition
Abstract. This research aims to find out the difference of students’ creative thinking skill using the PjBL learning model and conventional learning model for environmental pollution material. This research is a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The population were all the students of class VII and the sample were 34 students of class VII A and VII C. Data collection techniques used an essay. Data analysis in this study was conducted by t-test. The results showed that (1) creative thinking skill of students taught using PjBL learning model of environmental pollution material are in the moderate category with an average value of 58.23; (2) creative thinking skill of students taught using conventional learning model of environmental pollution are in the low category with an average value of 46.70; (3) there is difference of students’ creative thinking skill using PjBL learning model and conventional learning model of environmental pollution materials where students taught through PjBL learning model have higher creative thinking skills than taught by conventional learning model.Keywords: creative thinking skill, project-based learning, coventional learning.
Abstract. This study aims to: 1) determine the types of plants used as traditional medicine; (2) knowing the parts (organs) of plants used to treat diseases; (3) know how to process medicinal plants; and (4) knowing diseases that can be treated using medicinal plants in Pana District, Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi. This research is a descriptive research with an exploratory nature. Data was collected through interviews, observation and identification. The results showed that from the 7 informants interviewed, 35 plant species from 22 families were obtained. Parts (organs) of plants that are generally used are one or all parts in the form of tubers, roots, stems, leaves and shoots. The processing of medicinal plants can be used directly, which is eaten without being processed first or processed by pounding, boiling, watering, grating, kneading, soaking, and or burning. Diseases treated are jaundice, typhoid, breast cancer, nerves, fever, ulcers, uterine cancer, brain cancer, kidney, burns, common wounds, gout, vaginal discharge, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, cholesterol, tuberculosis (TB), diabetes, rheumatism, headache, asthma, dengue fever, cough, smallpox, infection, speed up labor, remove spots on the body, neutralize toxins, and lower blood pressure.Keywords: medicinal plants, traditional medicine, pana district, mamasa regency, west sulawesi.
This research aimed to develop natural family extension media online which can be used as alternative method of family planning, to know the effectiveness of natural family planning extension media online, and to give knowledge of reproductive health in women. The development of Natural Family Planning media using the 4-D development model developed by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel includes: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Stage Develop, producing revitalized Natural Algorithm on line media based on input from experts and on-line instruments to get a knowledge of family planning and reproduction health. Furthermore, the dissemination (Disseminate). At this stage is use of Natural Family Planning extension of media online/off line that has been developed on a wider scale to conduct Natural Family Planning online/offline. Results obtained 1) Natural Family Planning media online/offline in the form of PPT Media, Video, Quiz and Forum Valid, 2) Media Extension effectively used by family planning officer of online, 3) Natural Family Planning improved female reproductive health.
This study aims to determine the profile of student learning difficulties and factors that affect student learning difficulties in online biology lessons at SMAN 13 Takalar. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire of student responses related to learning difficulties in biology lessons in online learning at SMAN 13 Takalar. The results of the descriptive analysis of the study showed that the profile of student learning difficulties in online biology lessons at SMAN 13 Takalar, namely mastery of student material is classified as a low category, student learning time is classified as a low category, student learning achievement achievement is classified as a medium category, student focus is classified as a medium category, student enthusiasm is classified as a medium category, student learning behavior is classified as a medium category and the use of online learning applications is classified as a medium category.
