This study aims to examine and analyze how the development of Street Vendors in the City of Makassar through the Kanre Rong Karebosi program and how the collaboration of the Makassar city government with the Bank BNI Makassar Region through the Kanre Rong Karebosi program in developing street vendors in Makassar City. The type of research used in this study is qualitative, which will provide a factual description of the Kanre Rong Karebosi program in Makassar City and the collaboration of the government and the Bank BNI Makassar Region.
The rich picture technique is probably the tool most quoted to be used in describing a problem situation within Soft Systems Methodology, particularly in the academic literature. As this paper indicates, the authors' practical experience however show that there are numerous supplementary techniques known to have been used in the agreement and expression of the current problem situation. This paper attempts to describe those tools and techniques.
The forest bee farmer group in Rompegading Village still has problems regarding the limitions of hunting for forest bees which are only seasonal, safety and environmental risks and limited knowledge of trigona bee cultivation. With the program offered, the community can start a new business, namely trigona bee cultivation independently. The implementation of this program stars from socializing the introduction and potential of trigona bees, opening/cleaning cultivation/meliponiary areas, making bee houses, making paths to bee houses, planting food/flowers around bee houses, making bee boxes, searching for colonies in nature, installation of meliponiary signage, site fencing and monitoring and evaluation of activities. The activity was carried out for approximately 5 months starting from July to November 2021. The first harvest of 500 ml of trigona honey was sold and became a special satisfaction for member of the partner group. The Trigona Bee Thematic Village Development Program as an Effort for Community Empowerment in Rompegading Village, Maros Regency can be considered to have gone well because all activities carried out are carried out according to the scheduled timeline. It is hoped that from this PHP2D, the community of partner forest farmer groups have skills in trigona bee cultivation by utilizing the potential of the surrounding environment, so this can be the first step for them to start a trigona bee cultivation business so that it is hoped that a thematic village that is independent and caring for the environment will be created.
This paper aims to examine the bureaucratic pathology of waste management in Sinjai Regency as well as the government's efforts to deal with the pathology that occurs. The type of research used in this research is qualitative which will provide a factual picture of the research objectives. The results showed: the form of pathology found, namely Disfunctions of bureaucracy and Mal-Administration of the government structurally must implement waste management policies, namely the facilities and infrastructure must comply with regulations and the performance of officers who should run according to their duties and functions Efforts that must be made by the government, namely guidance and supervision of the regulations that have been set and contained in the regional regulations of Sinjain Regency number 10 of 2017 must be maximized. The efforts made by the Sinjai Regency government in overcoming the form of bureaucratic pathology faced in the implementation of hygiene policies, namely the lack of guidance, such as education on awareness of cleanliness to the public and supervision of people who are still littering in any place carried out at every level of government starting from the Regency level, the District level to the village level.
This study aims to describe factors that influenced the mode preference for intercity land movement in Malaysia. Bus and train as intercity land public transport service was observed during the construction of the ETS (Electric Train Service) project in Malaysia. This study adopted a qualitative research study using the Revealed Preferenced data and crosstabs procedure. The reliability test has been used over 17 questionnaire items to measure the consistency of the questionnaire. The result indicated that the overall reliability of the questionnaire is reliable. To evaluate the adequacy of the sample size, the factor analysis had conducted. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) and Bartlett’s test value is significant, which measures verified the sampling adequacy for the sample analysis. This research highlighted that the variable of fare, travel time, mode accessibility, departure frequency, and mode availability are some important attributes that influenced bus user preference for intercity land movement. Learning a lesson from the KL- Ipoh corridor, the completion of the ETS double-tracking project is predicted to affect the bus mode’s ridership in the KL - Penang corridor. This finding can be beneficial for setting future strategy on particular intercity modal goals.
