The mnemonic BE-FAST (Balance, Eyes, Face, Arm, Speech, Time) has been developed for the public to better remember and identify the warning signs of stroke. However, discrepancies may arise when translating stroke educational materials from English to Spanish. This article discusses the use of a culturally tailored tool, RAPIDO, to raise stroke awareness in Spanish-speaking populations.
