Comparative calculation of an energy certificate according to German and Austrian algorithms. The question of the comparability of energy certificate calculations according to different national standards is a frequently asked one. This article deals with the assessment of a complex non‐residential building by both German and Austrian algorithms. Compared were approach and complexity on the one hand and the results of the different calculation methods on the other hand. The results show that despite considerable additional effort, most of the results of the German calculation differ only slightly from those of the Austrian calculation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
